I think it has to be satire.  The only folks who think like that are the folks holding the signs above and they are, without exception, the craziest MF's on the planet (right there with the taliban and suicide bombers).  Of course, for the westboro crowd, it all comes from inbreeding and incest to produce the likes of the phelps family.

Does God really have a favorite country, people, religion, military force? Does God really take sides in a conflict, "God's on our side". Does God really have a favorite college, football, baseball, basketball, team or racing team? Does God really give a rats rear-end about any of that crap?

The answer is NO! He/she cares nothing about any of that stuff and a cornucopia of a lot of the other crapola humankind has crammed down our throats for centuries now. It's all made up including that fictional book they call the "Bible"; written, edited, and assembled by humankind for the singular purpose of controlling the masses, just as it is utilized to this very day.

God is that which humankind falls back upon when what it doesn't understand, like, want, or desire befalls it. It is the "go to" explanation for that which we do not understand, or are too lazy to figure out.

When humanity invokes the name of God, it is a sure sign that someone either doesn't know wtf they are talking about, or is so scared they're probably going to shit diamonds in the coming months.

What does swearing on the bible accomplish? Think God cares whether you swear over that lil piece of fictional story telling or not? Hell no! God knows whether or not you are telling the truth, going to tell the truth, or are going to lie through your pie hole until the cows come home.  Swearing on the bible is just another utilization of theatrical influence upon the masses, utilized by the legal system as a means of scaring the hell out of you so you'll tell the truth. Think it means anything to the professional liars? (IE law enforcement or criminal personnel that make a career out of conjuring up testimony about as truthful as that piece of fiction they swear upon on a regular basis). Hell no it doesn't!

God knows that humanity is nothing more than a bunch of lying little weasels, driven by greed and the desire to control the largest number of their own kind as possible. Been that way since we were swinging in the tress, flying through the air, or swimming in the seas. Its in our DNA, but some have evolved to figure out the farce this so called "human God" is, and those are the ones they must recondition or eliminate because they are a threat to the power holders. That's why they created revivals, missions, and the crusades; to force the "heathens" to comply and work to support the power holders.

God sucks because the "God" we have been preconditioned to know and fear is nothing more than a creation of humanity. The fact is, "that" God doesn't exist and never has. It's the proverbial "man behind the curtain" that we made up to scare everyone into making a select few the possessors of the majority of the wealth and power in this world. And it has been working since before they nailed that man on the cross.

Please provide a biblical quote that ensures the god of abraham is of "love and compassion".  You see, I don't need an imaginary friend to possess "love and compassion".  I am proud that I can come by that completely on my own.  What is "godlessness" to me; not living a lie.  The gators quarterback can't do a goddamn thing as he attributes "everything" to jesus and he is living a lie.  "Everything" I do is of my own accord and I live a life of truth.  I think that really makes christians a bunch of liars, really.  So, what is "godlessness" to you?  Or, are you still just lying to yourself as you were taught?

PH, I think the Bible is the most amazing book EVER written...and I don't think, that man, by himself, was or is capable of compiling a group of over 40 books, written over a 1500 year span, by several different authors, that delivers a constant message of Gods love....the amazing truths that are written in that book...........I really don't think that there a enough intelligent men on this earth who has ever lived that could have designed such a book, that is as powerful as this..........the millions of lives that has been changed and touched by this compellation of words......

I DO think, that man has corrupted it and bastardized many, many of the simple truths that God layed out there for ALL of to know...

I personally, find evidence of God's existence overwhelmingly real........and the "man behind the curtain" theory, I think you are giving WAY too much credit to a bunch of lying little weasels to create such a book and "fairy tale"........as many of you put it.

I believe He DID provide the same information to ALL........................or it is being provided, to the corners of earth...my guess, it is His, timely fashion.....it is HIS plan, not ours....just because we do not conceive His ideas of what He should have done, does not mean it is wrong....

What was the "plan", again?  Simple, but we complicated it?  Too complicated for us to understand?  Which is it?

As that god "wants to be praised"; why?  The creator of the universe, the giver of all life, the one with the "all knowing (yet SECRET)" plan needs a hug?  Just a little cuddle?  What is that?  Is it like prayer, this praise?  Some sort of special physics that is transported to the "father" and he KNOWS he is being praised and that "recharges his batteries", or what?  Do you even have to say how much you praise him in your mind, or out loud, for him to KNOW, or can you just think about it for a millisecond and the job is done?
