  My bitch is, out of every hour of television, there is over 30 minutes of commercials.  The companies who own the stations have ruined television watching for everyone in American.  There seem too be no end of the profit these greedy companies want and no end to the amount of money they want to pay the so called stars of these half ass shows.

Damn. Had to renew my CCP and run the gauntlet of fees this week. Among them the requirement to be fingerprinted again! What the hell? Another 51.25 in fees just to roll my fingers across a piece of glass, which I last did 5 years ago. Why the requirement for additional fingerprinting? What a crock of shite!

That alone pissed me off enough to go lifetime permit this time around. Last time they'll fee me to death.

  I bought a life time permit, glad I did.  I bought one for my wife too.  Just in case I left my gun in the car and while she was driving and got pull over she couldn't be arrest for carrying a  pistol without a permit.  These damn cops would not believe her if she said the gun was mine.  The assholes would arrest her anyway.

Once again we find ourselves within the season that serves to fleece the household budget, all in the name of peace and goodwill toward men. The irony is that this years version finds the country more divided than I have ever seen it within the decades I have graced the surface of this planet.

Everywhere one looks there is someone or something imploring or attempting to shame you toward one side or the other of some social, political, or religious conflict or another. It has become so burdensome that one can hardly find a moment of silence within which to dwell on what or even how you may feel about any of it.

I spent the warmer months out in the woods this year, hiking, climbing, and keeping myself active and away from all of that flotsam polluting our lives. Time well spent as it helped me drop 40 pounds, and provided time for me to ponder just where it is that I stand on all of this noise.

I work a lot too, so I've not been as exposed to the tripe as most others have been; with the majority of my exposure coming from my daily perusal of the online media, and an occasional foray to these premises. And most of the media stuff usually consisted of a brief skimming of the vitriolic prose on all sides of the issues within politics, and an occasional session to research some of those viewpoints when I felt them important enough to devote a little time toward them.

The end result of a spring, summer, and fall spent outdoors? Aside from the physical and mental benefits, it has served to make me starkly aware of just how noisy and nefarious our elected officials are; especially when it comes to the emotional propaganda out there.

The average citizen of this nation doesn't know or care about anything unless the local, state, national government launches an emotional propaganda campaign that tells them how they need to think of it. Whether it is the morality of the head of state, or the number of jobs being brought into your community, they'll tell you only what they want you to think and data be damned.

Jobs for example. At the local level to hear our elected officials tell it you would think its residents are working jobs that enable them to ride home to mansions of glory every evening, and that the number of jobs is astoundingly high.

The reality is, while there may be jobs available, the residents of this area frequently have to work 2 or 3 of those jobs simultaneously just to keep a roof over their heads. Why? Because the compensation rates remain woefully inadequate to allow them to remain in their 1000 square foot homes unless they do so.

Then there are those within the community that commute to other areas to work within jobs that, because of the increasing distances they have to drive each day, imposes about the same net take home pay rates as the jobs locally do. (I drive 3 hours round trip every day myself).

And while we're distracted by all of this effort, expense, and the long hours necessary to remain in our homes with our families fed, the treasonous men and women we elected enact "reforms" that serve to reduce the amount of taxation the wealthy pay, while removing the most vital advantage the middle class and increasing working poor have had in this nations history. Home ownership.

Gone are the tax advantages of home ownership to a lot of these people. The increased standard deduction rate levels the playing field by making the deduction the same for most within the middle class and the poor. So a person renting now has the exact same deduction as the person who takes the risk and owns a home, and incurs the expense and responsibilities of such. Even comparing two individuals that make the exact same incomes, but one owning and the other renting, their deductions are exactly the same. In fact, one would have to maintain a mortgage upwards of 400,000 dollars before being able to itemize their returns and see any benefit in carrying the debt of home ownership now.

And still, the masses love these scandals, and they will until we are all forced out of home ownership and are forced into renting from the wealthy that will eventually own the lions share of residential homes in this country if this situation is allowed to persist.

Our elected officials are running roughshod over the working class in this country, all the while pandering to corporate entities and treasonous heads of state. And we sit idly by watching it happen without so much as a bleat, unless one of these treasonous leaders squalls that they're being unfairly persecuted. Then it seems an overwhelming number of them take whatever is said as the absolute truth, without so much as a second of critical thought being applied.

All of this is funny if it were a movie or sitcom on television, but it's not. This is our very lives we're talking about here, as well as the lives of our children and grandchildren. And as our own quality of life declines, so will theirs exponentially.

I am astounded that no one is paying the least bit of attention to this. At all. Not even the mass media. . .

  But since he is there, I am glad he is with Trump.    Because this moron is done in politics.

Unfortunately I have to say that I don't think Pence is done, and the reality is that he will take over for Trump in the highly unlikely event the impeachment process removes him from office.

A scenario I find absolutely absurd. . . But it is the process and the law. . .
