In all of my decades in this place, I have never seen a larger shitshow than the ongoing election cycle for POTUS!

And just so it is written somewhere, I am predicting this upcoming DNC in Chicago is most likely going to make the one held there in 1968 look like a playground skirmish!

Taking the choice from the people is ALWAYS a bad idea.  :rant:

The assassination of United Healthcare CEO appears to have been solved by a McDonalds employee in Altoona PA who saw him and called police. They busted him with a 3d printed semi automatic pistol chambered for 9mm rounds. And a silencer that was also 3d printed. And a manifesto.

26 years old with a graduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

This event sent shockwaves through every single healthcare facility in the country. And has ignited an inferno of complaints from families and individuals who have by all accounts been wronged by having their claims denied via the various algorithms these places use to facilitate their decision making triage.

I saw a statistic that said that EVERY DAY 1,000 individuals are forced to file medical bankruptcy, in large part due to the denial of claims for medically urgent treatments. And many of them have died over the same. . .

This is not going away anytime soon. . .
