Here's hoping for a speedy recovery for Mr. Troll!

Here's some smiley action just for him.

Stop Raining! I'm getting cabin fever because I am inside at work all week long and every damned weekend it rains like a cow pissing on a flat rock. . .

LOL! That made me think of my father. He was VERY strict with me and my 4 sisters, to the point we wondered if darn was a cussword. Anyway it was definitely not "say as I say" with him. As for the weather here, it is crazy. One day very cold and next in the 90s and/or pouring rain.  After all these years I still remember how nice summers were in the mountains of southern WV, where I grew up.

Add my hugs and best wishes to you, Mr. Troll. I once spent a holiday weekend like that -- alone.

The Troll

Let me tell you my tale of woo.  A bout 5 weeks ago I leave the Fishers YMCA after warm water exercise feeling good.  Before I get home I start getting sick.  That night the diarrhea sets in which I fight for 5 days.   I go to the emergency room and they put me right into the hospital with Salmonella food poisoning.  Where I spend 4 days.  Sick as a dog and I really mean sick.

Two day after I get out, my body reject a pill that I am taking and my tongue swells up and I go to emergency room a 12:30 AM in the morning and spend 3 hours getting the swelling down.  Ever choke on your tongue?

Three day later I go up to my trailer at the lake to open it up for the summer.  The next day I have a Gallbladder attack.  I go to Huntington emergency and they put me in hospital for the gallbladder attack and they find I have a Salmonella bladder infection.  I spend 4 more days in the hospital.

I come back home and my doctor sets me up for a gallbladder operation.  My surgeon tell me that most operations take 30 to 40 minutes.  Guess what, mine take 3 hours.  The gull bladder had grown to a bowel.  I spend 4 more days in the hospital.

I am at home now, feeling run over, beat up and still feeling not too good. Weak as I can be.  I will tell you good people I wouldn't wish Salmonella food poison on anyone, not even Henry Hawk.

Here's hoping your illnesses are behind you, and the rest of the year is a good one!

I had Salmonella poisoning once! Lost 70 + pounds in 2 weeks in hospital. Had morphine injections around the clock for the first 11 days of my stay. I know exactly what you're going through Troll. And guess what. You NEVER get completely rid of once you've had it. It goes dormant in your intestines and if you get the slightest bit of live the bacteria again, it will go full bloom within just a few hours again.

I absolutely agree with you when you say you wouldn't wish it on anyone. Neither would I!

It is a wonder it didn't kill you.  Pale Horse, how long did it take for you to get your strength back and feeling better?  I still feel like hell and very weak.

About 12 weeks later I was back to what passes for normal when you get over salmonella. . . 🤮

Read a synopsis of the current GM strike in a financial publication that stated the average worker makes $68/hr at the assembly plants in the US. *Including benefits.

Bullshit! I know people working at some of those plants and they aren't getting paid that kind of wages. Where do this asshats get their information? ?
