Well, it's 3:55 pm and the temperature is 22*.Yesterday's temperatures were in the 40's. Now we are under a Winter storm watch effective tommorrow through Sunday. Possible ice accumulations of a 1/2 inch,and a possible  2-8 inches of snow. And the cherry on top, high winds with blowing ,and drifting snow.  :rolleyes:

I'm gettin' my bike out before it hits, and Old Man Winter has had it!!!!

WoooooooHoooooo!!!!! The storm went North and missed us completely!!  :sofa: :sofa: :sofa: :sofa: It's bright and Sunny here, and the temperature is a sweltering 40* We could get a couple of inches of rain tonight. I can live with that.  :biggrin:

Sorry there's no snow for you PH.  :'( I'm just glad we didn't get any. I can't afford to miss anymore work. My boss got p**sed the last time I called off. I've missed 5 days this Winter, and that's more days off, than the entire 4 years I've been there. I just know when my review comes up, she's gonna mark me off for dependability. Even though I can't control the weather. She just waits for the opportunity, to mark me off for something.  :rolleyes:

You won't believe what they did to people stuck on the 27 miles of closed highway. Apparently, CHPs told motorists that if they could pull their cars off the road and park them, they could leave them overnight and walk out. They said they wanted to make room for emergency vehicles so that they could get to accidents, etc. The next day dozens of motorists returned to the spot they left their cars to discover they'd been towed and every owner not only had to pay the tow bill, but were also cited for parking/stopping unnecessarily on the interstate! Had it been one motorist, then I'd think he/she misheard. Even a couple drivers...I might buy it, but from what the news said it involved dozens of motorists. Hopefully, they'll not have to pay.

Jesum Crow!!!!  :mad: They need to find out who authorized them to leave their cars there, and make the imbicile pay for it all. That's crazy!!! Somebody really dropped the ball on that one.  :mad:

Well, it's 12:34 pm and the temperature is 36*. We are having torrential downpours. The forcast is predicting several inches of rain. On the radar, it looks like we have snow moving in to the area this evening, but I haven't had a chance to check the weather yet.  :biggrin:
