Well, it's 6:55 pm and the temperature here is 34*. It's been very windy, and we've been getting a rain/sleet/snow mixture most of the day. It's a little slick out, but nothing serious, as far as I can tell.

59 degrees and the wind is howling like a hooker at a Christian convention. Raining off and on as well. . .

Actually it's now +23* at 5:16pm.  :sun: And we have 8 hrs. 46 minutes of daylight today. Had to sit out on my porch for a while as short people were taking a nap this afternoon. If it holds people are gonna be wearing shorts in the next few days.

There was a guy that I went to college with, in West Virginia, that was from Alaska. I'm not sure from where, but he wore shorts year around. When anybody asked him about it he said that he didn't want to become accustomed to the warmer temps and then have to move home. Seems like he'd still get used to it, but maybe it was warm weather for him.

It was warm for him. When I go to Indiana in October or November most people are wearing coats. I don't wear more that a long sleeved shirt ,I always wear sandals when I'm there. Oct. 2007 was different. I don't remember Indiana ever being as hot  in Oct. as it was my last trip down. I got all my shorts out as soon as it warmed up to -10*.

Thunderstorms and rain last night.  I slept through it though.  We need more!  Thankfully there was no tornado activity!
Take time to smell the roses.

Little dandruff this morning, warming up and still too warm for February. . . :icon_evil:

But there's a cool front coming tonight.  High is only supposed to be 76 degrees.  ;D

But, as I previously pointed out, I may be singing a different tune come hurricane season.

But let's hope not.
