Kimmi I feel your pain on the lack of rain. All of our water is piped in from elsewhere. We average about .85 inches a year. Of course some months are wetter than others, but over a 12 month period that's what it is according to this site:

For the record, that's at the airport which is closer to the beach than I am.  I'm about 12 miles or so inland so it's in the upper 60s around here.  ;D

Wow!  I just noticed this when posting the above:

Tuesday
Breezy. Partly sunny. Chance of showers...then showers and thunderstorms likely in the afternoon. A few could be strong. Highs around 80. Southeast winds 15 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent.

Tuesday Night
Breezy. Mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms likely. Lows in the lower 70s. South winds 10 to 15 mph becoming 15 to 20 mph after midnight. Chance of rain 70 percent.

Wednesday
Breezy. Mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms likely. Highs in the lower 80s. Southwest winds 15 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent.

I hope that comes through.  We need the rain.  I'll just have to make it through a few potentially severe thunderstorms tomorrow.  ;D

I kind of doubt if we'll get much more than that for the rest of the winter.  Of course I do remember getting some pretty good snows for Easter a few times.  Then there's always the snow we seem to get at simi-state high school basket ball time.

Time to put the snow dance uniform up for the season, and dust off the rain dancing uniform. . . :'(
