I've been having an ongoing conversation on this topic with someone at work. Holy hell, I had almost forgotten how brainwashed religion makes people!

GREENSBURG -
Dozens of protesters greeted the congregation leaving Greensburg Apostolic Truth Temple Sunday morning after a You Tube video was posted last week.

Lyrics sung by pre-schoolers included: "the Bible is right, somebody's wrong. Romans 1 and 27, ain't no homo gonna make it to heaven."

Protester John Waudby said "when the congregation stood and hooted and hollered I was really sick."

Michelle Ray told us "they are using a child as a pawn in their message and it's just not appropriate."

But days since the controversy broke came a signal not all the congregation is behind the video.

"They love everybody, but they don't love the sin" said Robert Kirby, whose daughter teaches Sunday School at Apostolic Truth Temple.

Kirby said "it shocked everybody." He was asked if it shocked his daughter. "Think it did," he said, "Think it caught them all off guard. Nobody here told the kid to do that. I don't know where that came from." Asked if he thinks church members are sorry he said "oh yeah." Kirby attends a different church in town.

A church member said the Church will have a statement this week. The pastor is away.

But this is a country founded on religious freedom. So doesn't a congregation have the right to preach and believe as it sees fit?

"You shouldn't teach hate to a child," says Lucas Hartwell, one of the protest leaders. "You should teach them love. Love his fellow man whether he be homosexual or not."

Protester Lauren Larson said "even if one person sees our message - a teenager or something - and stops bullying somebody that's one kid that is stopped from hanging himself, possibly."

"It's bad for business," says area resident Herman Strumpf. Especially if Greensburg wants to attract another plant like Honda.

"This is not a community of bigots," Strumpf said. "This is a welcoming and diverse community. We are open for business and we want to project that image and let the whole world know."

I guess God isn't great to Rev. Schuller.  They had to sell the their Crystal Cathedral.

It was bought by the Catholics for $57.7 Million.  They are really going to shear the Sheeple to pay for that hunk of glass.  :haha:

It's a wonder how the Catholic church paid for it after paying for all of those child rape felonies.  :haha:  I guess God is great to some people.  :haha:  Any way it all tax free.

. . .Officials in Escambia County, Florida, where Pensacola is located, expect damage to total more than $20 million.
Floodwaters up to 8 feet deep inundated the Forest Creek Apartments in the city.
"I walked out chin-deep in water," Lillian Murphy told CNN affiliate WEAR TV. The floodwater submerged her car and almost reached the roof of her apartment. "I don't know who to call or who to contact.". . .

I thought he was never going to destroy the earth by flood again? Oh, just pieces of it?
