It's actually mutilation  I always thought that there is a medical reason which makes this beneficial to the male. Am I wrong and this is actually a just a religious practice?

we needed to begin to know what 'sacrifice' meant....and THAT my brother IS a sacrifice...

Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

well, there is a price to pay IF you did not do as commanded by the Lord....(honestly, that is just my quick answer...but, it seems like a good one...)

I think your being a little over dramatic...we are just talking about a little skin....that in the LONG run, turned out to be a pretty good thing...

Any way you look at it, it's still ridiculous.

This is the trailer for a documentary called "The God Who Wasn't There."  The first part of the trailer is an example of God's lil' children doin' the best they know how.  The second part of the trailer is a sample of the case that's made against Christianity and its myths.

Here's a question for mcgonser and Henry Hawk.  Would you entertain watching a documentary like this?

Hell, you two make be too scared to even watch the trailer.

You know it's documented in another bible, practiced by another faith that women must be circumcised as well. Seems barbaric to us, but according to their bible their one true god demands this and well it's documented and true. How could we mere mortals know which one is correct? It seems with numbers of gods, religious texts (bibles) and religions someone would be more likely to be struck by lightening than to choose the correct one.

actually that cracks me up.....first of all, they use the wachnut TV evangelists that truly does not represent the average Christian.......let me rephrase, I feel as if I am a representative of most Christians in America, at least the ones I have known....and the cornball, cheesey evangelist that they use are not reflective of what I feel as good representation...my opinion of course..and secondly those cheesy movies of Jesus are not something that I am remotely proud of....

I probably not have any problem watching the flick, those usually encourage me more than they bother me....
