says the atheist.

Yes, the athiest who was raised Catholic and went to parochial schools for several years.  Between Trump and the pope, who do you think sound more like Jesus?
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

How did he tell the truth?  He was being extremely hypocritical. One moment he is saying "who am I to judge" regarding gays.......then he calls someone who wants a fence on our boarder "Not a Christian"...........and to boot, the Vatican City has a fence all around it.  Very hypocritical coming from a supposed man of God.

But yet Trump can go on and on about Obama's faith, even to the point of claiming he is a Muslim, and no one complains about that?

Man! Talk about hypocrisy!

And if I don't end up loving god, then I don't get to go to the place he prepared.  So then I get screwed in life today and the afterlife.  That's pretty shitty.

That's exactly what proves the lie to the xtian excuse of 'Free Will'.

I've pointed out a long time ago to Hank and other so-called xtian's/religious apologists (a version of it may still be in my personal are here) that 'Free Will' cannot be an 'either/or' proposition as they present it.

For 'Free Will' to actually exist, it must include the option to not play god's little game at all - and suffer no consequences for it.

'Free Will' is just xtian's simple minded blather aimed to distract from their doctrine's - and religion in general - lack of answers to real world situations/problems.

Another bit of their foolish religious blather is the doctrine of 'Sola Fide' (by faith alone).  It's a morally bankrupt doctrine which allows for any actions/behavior.

Just pay attention to Hank's description of 'god' and 'eternal life' in 'paradise' it's obvious how easy it is to prove such nonsense doesn't exist except in the fevered minds of the religious - of all persuasions.  Also, notice how similar it is to the Muslim religious persuasion that his ilk despises so much.

Even though I know the average IQ of this country is sub 100, I can't believe anyone actually swallows all that religious hogwash.

I'd like to ask your opinion of something that popped into my head immediately after watching Bill and Gloria Gaither last Saturday night.

Unlike previous programs and repeats, the entire hour was given to a young couple, Joey and Rory. She (Joey) had a beautiful voice, and was singing an old familiar hymn when I tuned in. The entire crowd, and Bill, were unusually subdued as she sang. About halfway through, Bill did a short interview with the two of them -- they talked about her battle with cancer and about faith in God and why bad things happen to good people like her (the mother of a baby girl). Then she sang more old timey hymns. The program ended about 10 minutes short of the usual hour, and Bill came back on and explained that the program we'd just seen was recorded a year ago and sadly, Joey lost her battle with cancer.

I hate to disappoint, and it's a shame she's dying (but as most folks I've lost several friends to cancer, so it happens and it's nothing special) but it's all schtick.  Just like the Gaithers, it's all about the money and fame, there's nothing 'religious' about it.  'Gospel' music and 'faith' was turned to after other music career opportunities failed and unexpected life situations.

You'd have to live around here and be familiar with the Church of God, Anderson University, and the people like the Gaithers etc. associated with them to understand the corruption and hypocrisy.

'Xtian'/religious music and the industry behind it is a farce, and the people involved corrupt fakes.

Yeah, we know you've been given that material by the RW Noize Machine to mindlessly regurgitate.

Here's the quote: "A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian. This is not the gospel," the Pope told journalists who asked his opinion on Trump's proposals to halt illegal immigration.

We know you're just regurgitating RW Noize Machine propaganda, but that 'judging' bit is just 'apples/oranges' crap.

Also, you let your handler's BS make you look a dope.  The Vatican does not have a 'fence all around it'.
