I hate dressing up like an eskimo.  Fall I can deal with; winter, not so much.

I don't like snowdrifts up to my waist, but otherwise there is nothing nice I can say about the summer heat here, especially in July and August, which are usually pure misery. My front and back yards, which I love to tend to in other seasons, look like mini- jungles right now, because, in addition to the heat, there are the mosquitoes!

When we first moved here -- long time ago -- we lived in a trailer with no air conditioning, so on weekends would pile in the VW (also no air ) and drive west to the mountains, then back after dark, to escape the heat.
All of life is a process of testing and initiation, always preparing for a higher level of consciousness -- and illumination. -- John Horn

Summer is not my favorite time of year, I enjoy fall the most. But it was great at the park this morning, a company got rid of all the mosquitoes, there was a nice breeze, shade and it wasn't hot yet.

Today wasn't that bad here really. Went to a benefit for a musican friend of ours and was outside all day. The slight breeze and being able to sit in a shady spot made it bareble.
