2 outs bottom of the 8th, game tied at 3 all. Grand Slam HR by the Cubs, followed by a solo home run, followed by a double off the wall. Still 2 outs in the bottom of the 8th but it is now 8 to 3 Cubs!

Think they heard me?

One would think  that with about 600 channels, ONE of them would be carrying the Cubs game!

  Things have gotten so crazy I've been wondering what it would be like to have been born into a Catholic family. Even with all the Church's faults, it seems that a lot of "normal" people are Catholic -- I have to admit watching Ballykissangel on Maryland Public TV helps.  It's an escape from reality for me.

My husband is Catholic and I converted to Catholicism but left the Catholic Church. When a priest can marry and have kids than I will consider going back.

I wish more people thought like you.   But, then and again, I like to see all religion go away.  Worshiping a guy in the sky, you can't see. :ghost: It just don't make any sense.

I believe religion to be a personal and private thing. I don't care what religion a person is as long as they aren't shoving their beliefs down my throat. I don't go around doing that.

Many of my co-workers follow some sort of religion, but none proselytize which I appreciate.  I have had discussions with a few of them, and we are all respectful of each others beliefs/non-beliefs.

That is how it should be. I enjoy learning about other religions but don't try to convert me.

My mother being a devout Christian lady and with her trying to drive her religion down my sisters and I throats with church, church, church and prayer and prayer drove us from religion.  Most people don't enjoy  talking about religion with me.  For most, I know more about the Bible than they do.  Talking to me with my Atheist views makes them think to much.  They don't want to hear the truth about their bible and beliefs.  They just can't believe what they have been told by other people and their book, for years and years, just can't be all true.   :'(   What really gets them, is when I tell them that prayer  doesn't work and it can be proved by pass events.

Each and every day around 21,000 children die under the age of 4 years old.   :'(  You know that each and every child's mother prayed that their child wouldn't die and even offered their own lives to save the child.     What did their God do, not a damn thing, not a god damn thing.  Yet the religious people of the world still thinks that there is a great, good and loving god.  All I have to say to this is.  :bs:  :bs:  :bs:   All of this is phony.   :preach:  :pope:  :ghost:
