Yes, I would do that at minimum wage because there is no training or schooling involved and I believe if you're hired to do a job you do it well not half assed because that's what you're paid to do. If you want higher pay you work up to it, which I would also do. That is an entry level job not a career and there is no shame in having a job like that the shame comes in NOT taking a job like that because you think you're too good. No, it's not a pleasant job but someone has to do it.

I had to some really bad jobs in the rest rooms where all of the toilets :toilet: were stopped up and running over.  :puke:  I did the job because I was paid well to do it.     $21 per hour and this was over 20 years ago.     But at $7.25 per hour they could have shoved the job up their ass.  :trustme:   :wait:

Stop acting like the people responsible for cleaning public restrooms go in there and do a "cleanroom" class disinfecting of them. They don't. Would you at minimum wage?

Just as an aside here, one of the problems of cleaning modern day restrooms is that they're not designed to be as cleanable as they used to be - so as with everything else in good ole' capitalist Amerika, it boils down to money.

I worked as a janitor more than once in my life, and Sears - if anyone remembers the Sears building uptown Anderson which was one Sears I worked at - had some of the best designed restrooms for cleaning.

They were done up in all tile, stainless steel, and some porcelain, with drains in the floor and hose spigots.  All I had to do to give the restroom a proper cleaning was spray the entire room down with a cleaner/disinfectant, scrub anything that required scrubbing, and then hose the entire room down, squeegeeing the excess water down the drains.

The restrooms came away sparkling clean.

Try and find a restroom constructed like that anymore.  It's cheaper to use drywall, paint, and vinyl, but it's nowhere near as cleanable.

Law of Logical Argument - Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about.  ;)

"You've probably noticed that opinion pollsters go out of their way to include as many morons as possible in surveys ... I think it's dangerous to inform morons about what their fellow morons are thinking. It only reinforces their opinions. And the one thing worse than a moron with an opinion is lots of them." -- Scott Adams

In other words: Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  ;)

"It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends upon his not understanding it." -- Upton Sinclair

"Hitler is gone, but if the majority of our fellow citizens are more susceptible to the slogans of fear and race hatred than to those of peaceful accommodation and mutual respect among human beings, our political liberties remain at the mercy of any eloquent and unscrupulous demagogue." -- S. I. Hayakawa

We will see....Hey, I only missed the last one.  Romney caved, and we lost. If he had half a backbone, I would have been right.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't I also recall you making one of your now famous prognostications regarding McCain/Palin?  ;D
