Interesting.  I don't know if I'll go to all the work with the cardboard, but I do want to try out the spray method.  Now I need to run to Target and get a sprayer!

No, didn't get it there so you and the Mrs. are safe. I kind of wonder if it's more weather related than an actual cold anyway since neither of us have had a fever at all. I've actually worked feeling worse than this but don't have to anymore and ain't gonna.

Retired again!  I worked my last day at the auto auction last Friday.  Got tired of driving 200-300 miles a day in and around Indy on the Interstate system, tired of working in crappy weather, and tired of putting myself at risk when dealing with breakdowns on the road.  Other than working at Bunker Hill Dragstrip again, all my time will be for me and the family.

The wife is planning on retiring this time next year, so I better enjoy it while I can.

Forty-four years ago today we moved into this house. It was -20 degrees. We had frozen pipes, garbage piled waist high in the dining area and an overflowing toilet. My husband actually hired a plumber to thaw the pipes and toilet. It was a long and frustrating day.

Anyone have any thoughts about President Obama's commutation of Ms. Manning's sentence? It seems what she did caused a lot of harm in some areas but some people thought what she did was a good thing. I thought it was almost but not quite treason.

I think those of us alive now and when the incident(s) transpired, will never know the full story behind the whole thing.

And I think only when we are mostly all down for the long dirt nap, the information will be released that validates President Obama's actions.
