Normally one would count on the constitutional process to control any idiot that happens to get elected as POTUS. These days the problem is most of the idiots are life-long members of congress that are worse that the idiot we just elected.

Very cool!! I think of the War Wagon, a movie he made with John Wayne.......not sure if it was my favorite, but it sticks out as a good movie when I think of Kirk Douglas.

Wow! 100 is a milestone. Have an aunt that age and the stories she tells just think of the ones that Kirk could tell.

I recall at some point him appearing on a talk show not too long after having a stroke. He was doing 1 arm push ups on stage. I thought back then he was going to be visited by the :reap: soon. I could not have been more wrong.

He says he is tired of talking about himself though. Damn. A century of life experiences and now he's tired of talking about himself. Personally I want to hear more about him while he's still around to tell us about it.

While there are more 100 year olds in the world today, compared to the early 20th century, reaching triple digits is still something amazing. Reaching it and still having your children around is doubly amazing at that age.

Just think of some of the people he used to 'hang out' with!!! Most of them have been gone a long time....
I think it would be cool as heck to listen to him reminisce about the old days.......

My husband's aunt still has her son around. He had another aunt who lived to be 96 or 98. Her husband and her were good friends with Henry Ford. She made clothes for Mrs. Henry's ford and he was one of Henry Ford's top right hand guys. She told us a lot of stories.

I don't know who ordered winter ❄️ and cold but I hate freezing in the ❄️.  I am a 85 degree summer sunshine ☀️ person.

Agreed.  Tomorrow's high is supposed to be 24 with a real feel of 4 degrees!  :spooked:

We are suppose to get up to almost 60 on Saturday and then the temperature drops Saturday afternoon and goes to the 20's. I don't even want a white Christmas.

Saturday is in the low 40's.  I'm hoping for a Christmas Eve and Christmas like last year.  My daughter and I had my sun roof open while looking at Christmas lights on Christmas Eve!

Hahaha!  I asked Siri what the temperature was and she said, "Brrr.  It's cold.  26 degrees."  Siri tells it like it is.
