whatever, and I suppose you have never been bitter over something and made an offhanded comment that someone else wanted to tear apart and analyze?  I'm not having any fun with this.  When I get the same type of man over and over again, I'm going to not trust that heritage, or that group of men.  It's my prerogative.  How's this for profiling, all men suck.
Looks like I've come full circle.

:o

But then again, is that such a bad thing after all?  ;)

In my frame of mind since last friday. Pretty much.

The only reason I'm still gaga over Aaron is because I've never met him and am not likely to.  He might be the only one I have real conversations with that doesn't suck. At least he keeps me laughing.

(don't you guys on here get your boxers in a bunch.  I'm talking about the single men I could have access to.)

Your anger with one (or several men if you prefer) is understandable, and I would grant you entitlement to some level of frustration. However, to extend your experiences with one or a handful of any particular race, creed, color, gender, etc. is insidious at best and does nothing more than deprive you of future opportunity.

If your experiences are consistent then this is indicative of a flaw within your selection process, thought process, or perhaps something else. You would be better served in taking this frustration and directing it toward something that would be beneficial to you; say for example a self analysis of your selection process.

EXAMPLE ( Disclaimer: I do not mean to infer that this is your process, but rather utilize it merely as an example here):

Suppose I chose my potential mates purely based upon their wealth or ability to support ME and my family. I paid no attention to their work habits, their personal habits, their tastes, their desires; and spent the entire "get to know you" period gathering information surrounding their financial status and determining their amount of discretionary cash each pay period, while I "serviced" them to the best of my ability in order to get and keep their attention.

Should I really have any expectation of security or longevity, much less loyalty within such a selection criteria? I wouldn't think so. If that's what I want then I darned well better act to ensure that our personal tastes, desires, needs, and goals mesh pretty closely; cause after the "honeymoon" we're going to have to deal with each other every day, all day long. . . or enjoy life on the rocks and ambiguity.

It would seem that the common denominator within your experiences might just have more to do with something within your selection process, rather than the men it results in. . . No?

Hey, I'm not here to push buttons other than those on my keyboard, and if I am doing that to you than let me apologize up front. You broached the subject and all I am trying to do is point out the error within your "justification" of your statements and their intention, as well as how they may be perceived by some.

Sure, I stand guilty of the very same behaviors within the past, but if we cannot learn from our mistakes than we are doomed to repeat them until we do. I learned many of my lessons the hard way and I am committed toward helping others avoid or circumvent these challenges; in the hope that it will not take them as long to understand the lessons as it has taken me.

Am I perfect, am I always right? Heck no! Anybody that thinks they are has not learned a thing yet. But I have learned that commitment toward continuous improvement of self, personally and professionally, is the cornerstone of the path toward success. If you aren't learning, then you have already started dieing.

Another profiler.

I was joking!

BUT...whenever Aaron does get a bit nutty he'll say "Its the German, French, and Indian in me all fighting to get out."

If you ask nicely, most will.  Maybe it isnt the men, maybe you need to step back and look at who you are choosing from, throw that list away and make a new one.  I know quite a few decent, hardworking, honest men, and I gotta say, all men do not suck.  Some however do need a good kick in the bum.

It's a huge pool I'm choosing from, the whole United States.  I'm looking for certain qualities, and in the beginning these guys are exhibiting them, until I get to spend some time with them.  And it's always the same kind of crap.  It has to be built in to them.  Do they feel THAT comfortable with me that they can be this way? I wish it was just all about sex, I could just test drive it and then move on.
