That is so good to hear dear. I know I certainly enjoyed the rain here last weekend. It has been smokin' hot here today. Mid 90's.

i hate when it gets too hot... and it's always so humid.... i think tomorrow's high is only 71.  that's more my style.

Me too vixen...But that is the price you have to pay here in Florida. I envy your 71 today. What state?

northeastern ohio.  (winters are murder here... and then it gets too hot in the summer--i need a milder climate.)

I hear that San Diego is very near perfect. I've never been there though.

I can speak to that. It is very near perfect here weather wise. If you look it up, you'll see that our annual temperature difference isn't extreme at all. We have a few humid days, but so few that last summer I can say that I remember two weeks, tops, that were sticky, but even then there was a breeze outside that kept things from being unbearable.

The downside to San Diego is that it never rains. Once in a while so we don't have the lush green look that you see in other places. It's not sparse like the desert, but the dirt is dry and sandy. We have a lot of Palm trees and the sunny days will get to you if you enjoy a nice rainy and melancholy day from time to time.

I love it here though. The positives far outweigh any negatives. Previous to living here, I loved in Baltimore and I know frigid winters and unbreathable summers. This is like paradise, weather-wise.

Boiled peanuts are mushy. Eww.

I'm going to be in NE Ohio sometime this summer, vxn. One of my best friends (who lives in a town that I cannot come up with the name,  now, but its near Youngstown I THINK) is FINALLY engaged. I never thought she'd ever find a guy good enough for her pickiness!

i was really picky to... and now i've been putting off a wedding for 7.5 years.

you know, there are plenty of fun things to do in ohio in the summer...

I actually like Ohio quite a bit. I have fond memories of going to Hocking Hills, Put In Bay, and we're planning to catch Trumpet in the Land in New Philadelphia this summer

I drive by my childhood home everytime I visit my brothers or friends. Granted, its only 150 miles away, but hey!

You don't want to drive past my childhood neighborhood! Not without kevlar underwear, and an assault weapon or two. :spooked:

I live in the Town where I grew up, and the house I lived in was still standing as of yesterday when I had Sunday dinner there with ma and pa and various other family members. In fact, I drove by there this morning on my way to the station, so as of 5:30am, it was still all good.
Something witty and relevant.
