Watch for a player named Josh Forrest. He is playing for the Rams. Had the privilege of knowing him when he was a kid and was a multi talented player in football and basketball. I believe  he didn't start playing football until he was a Jr. in high school. I think he played running back for University of Kentucky.

Read this and you might understand where he's coming from, that simply because he is in far better social/financial circumstances doesn't necessarily make him a hypocrite for either his actions or his speaking out, and that if he suffers social/financial repercussions for this it's an example of the racism ingrained into our society/system:

The flag is nothing but a piece of cloth, and if you want to imbue it with some mystical, magical, patriotic properties, then feel free to go ahead, but don't expect anyone/everyone else to agree, honor, or respect that.  You don't have the authority or the power to make it so, and in any attempt to do so puts you crossing the boundary into invading others personal liberties.

The 'Star Spangled Banner' is a horrid song (and the best version being Jimi Hendrix's wherein you can hear the armaments and the screams of the dying and dead), and one person's expression of relief, set to the tune of an old English drinking song.  As far as national anthems go, it's atrocious.  'America the Beautiful' should have replaced it long ago.

The idea of entwining the National Anthem and sports was racist and authoritarian from the get go.  It should have never happened, and it's LONG past time the practice was done away with.
