Texas is a lot closer to DC than Spain and Bush's ranch didn't cost us a dime in lodging.  It does seem a little hypocritical to ask us to conserve and then go on an extravagant vacation like that any way you look at it so quit excusing it.  That do as I say and not as I do routine is getting a little old IMHO.  If they are asking all of us to conserve they, the Obama's should be too.  After all it is our money they are spending.  If the money isn't there for us why should it be there for them?

  Hell, my wife and I went on two cruises and we went in a multimillion dollar boat and anyone will tell you that the Royal Caribean ship is like a floating 5 Star Hotel and I'm just a factory worker.

That's more than 2 1/2 years on vacation. This figure doesn't count the amount of time spent on vacations away from these two places. That's a lot of vacation time, even considering two terms.
