Why don't you get it........first of all Bush is no longer POTUS......you guys slammed him every time he farted....secondly, NOW is not a good time to be acting like a diva, with millions of citizens struggling to get by, this potus PROMISED if we passed the 787 BILLION dollar stimulus bill, our unemployment would NOT go above the 8% mark........well it WENT to 10%, and they think it is okay to just zip around the world on THOSE tax dollars we spent to make things better....it was a wrong thing to do, and I don't care if it was Nancy Reagan, Barbra or Laura Bush, Hillary or Elanor Roosevelt.........THAT was a bad PR move, and the American people are not to appreciative of it, either.  Except for YOU hard headed Obama loyalists he think she needed a badly deserved vacation, because she is so stressed by her poor little husband working SO hard to save this country....

if he would work as hard on the economy as he does his golf game, we may not be in this mess right now....

Texas is a lot closer to DC than Spain and Bush's ranch didn't cost us a dime in lodging.  It does seem a little hypocritical to ask us to conserve and then go on an extravagant vacation like that any way you look at it so quit excusing it.  That do as I say and not as I do routine is getting a little old IMHO.  If they are asking all of us to conserve they, the Obama's should be too.  After all it is our money they are spending.  If the money isn't there for us why should it be there for them?

  She says in a snotty way, "Well, Texas is a lot closer than Spain."  Well, ain't that precious.

  Let's see Washington DC to Spain is 8386 miles round trip.  Washington DC  to Texas is 2800 miles round trip.  Now let's multiply 2800 miles times the 77 trips in the 747 Air Force #1, which cost more, that George W. his wife and 2 kids took to Texas is 215,600 miles.  Divided by 4 people equals 53,900 miles for each person.

Now let's take 8,386 miles in a smaller jet, divided by 40 friends, that equals 8,386 miles for each person.  Look like a good deal.   And did you know the President's wife has no choice how she travels.  The Secret Service decides how she travels and how many agents go on that trip.

  Also about all of the unemployment, 10% so they say, caused by the greedy Republican Party taking care of the rich and the corporations they own.

  Obama is employed and he has done quite well, in money, in the books he has written and sold.  So why in hell can his wife take the kids and some friends on a trip.  I know if I ever won the lottery, I would gather some of my friends and we would go take a nice cruise, eventho we're almost in a Republican Depression.  You would not be on my trip.  You could stay home and cry for some more tax cuts for the Super Rich.

Why don't you get that it does matter. George W Bush was perhaps the worst president in history, but yet you guys defend him at every turn WHILE holding President Obama to a standard that you dismiss for George W Bush.

The truth of the matter is that if you held the previous president to the same standard, he'd fail miserably.

1. Not my opinion, the approval rating polls say that I'm right.

btw, the Republicans DID support a bill to extend unemployment to folks, by using money ($787 BILLION) that we had already allocated for the Stimulus Bill....but the DEMOCRATS think that all we have to do is print MORE money.....the idiots don't understand WHY their are teapartys right now, it's because the vast majority of Americans are sick to death of spend, spend, spend and the pork, pork, pork......

and there has been lots of prayers by some good, honest, hard working, blue collar americans, and MAYBE, just MAYBE, we might just be a lot worse off right now it we had not been prayin....but, PLEASE don't knock those folks who DO offer their hearts out with prayer and many, many of these folks ARE giving money to their churches who ARE helping out folks who are unemployed, with groceries and rent money.....I know this for a fact.
