Under right to work laws, the workers are protected from being fired for not paying union dues...also under union contract you HAVE to pay 1 percent to 2 percent of your wages in dues whether or not you support the union..then, they (the union) uses that money to support certain government officials who then continue to give them the power....it is unethical and wrong...it reeks of corruption.

Well, I am going to say it, Hawk you are a god damn lair.  It is against any federal law to use any union dues for political work or use.  I don't know where you god damn Republicans get this lie.

Prove it ass hole that I am wrong.  I know you can't prove that unions use their dues for political work.  So go fuck yourself.

In fact I just sent the UAW $100 to their political action group which is voluntary.  Also when the real campaign starts for president I'm going to sent Obama some money so he can bury you son of bitches.  God I hate you damn lying Republicans.

that is why there is NOW legislation called the Employee Rights Act
http://www.unionfacts.com/employee-rights
The legislation would:

  • Secret Ballot Elections — Guarantee employees the right to a secret ballot election when choosing whether or not to join a union.
  • Union Recertification Elections — Require that all unionized workplaces hold a secret ballot referendum every three years to determine whether the employees wish to remain represented by their current union.
  • Paycheck Protection — Give employees the right to refuse support for a unions' political operations or support of political parties or candidates.
  • Standardized Election Timing — Require unions and employers to give employees a minimum of 40 days to hear from both sides when deciding whether or not to join a union.
  • Decertification Coercion Prevention — Strengthen the National Labor Relations Act to prohibit unions from intimidating or coercing employees from exercising their rights, including their right to decertify the union.
  • Secret Ballot Strike Vote — Give employees the right to a secret ballot vote before union leaders can declare a strike.

Yeah RIGHT!

Unions Don't Spend Dues Dollars On Politics
The union line about not spending dues on politics rates right up there with "Your check is in the mail," "I'll still respect you in the morning," and "I'm from the government and I'm here to help."

During the 2004 presidential primaries many unions had several, in some cases far more than several, staff members in Iowa promoting their favorite candidates. They are full time staff members for the candidates' campaigns. They are highly skilled, highly paid political operatives. Their salaries, benefits and expenses are paid by the unions.
http://www.unionfreeamerica.com/duesforpolitics.htm

Leo Troy, a distinguished professor of economics at Reuters University in New Jersey, gave testimony to a Congressional Committee outlining how unions spend about $500 million in dues dollars on politics each election cycle.

Mitch Daniels' administration reportedly just found $300 million they didn't know the state had.  It was apparently a coding error that caused taxes paid by e check to be put into a holding account instead of the general fund.  How, exactly does one misplace $300 million and not even know that it's lost?

Henery I will give you one thing, Union are allowed to lobby for the benefit of their members.  Just like companies and corporations are allowed to lobby for their interest.

But the unions can't use union dues to support a candidate or a political party.  That can be only for donations of it's members.  The Bush boys were so good about talking about the Evil Empires.  Well, they should have been talking about the Republican Party.  They are sure evil.  :devil29:

But unlike corporations who have been the right to give unlimited amount to candidates and political parties the union was given that right.  I wonder why.  It couldn't been because of the majority of Republican on the Supreme Court.  We will never know because the Republicans are so corrupt and such lairs.

The Troll

Henery,  you're always crying about unions using union dues to play politics.  What in hell do you care, you don't even have a dog in the fight.  I suppose your dad cried about his dues going into political races while he receive union benefitss and supporting you.  Henery you damn well know you don't give a damn about uneducated union factory works.  They don't deserve to be paid a decent wage.  F^%k them, I got mine to worry about.

But, I wonder how much money the drug, banks, stock market companies, Fox News, insurance companies pay for political favor.

Henery, you're just a SCAB and you want to stick your damn nose in someone Else's business.  What a DICK!  :jc:

You know something troll, normally, I just let you blow off and I move on.

But, I'm really getting sick and tired of this country being F'd up.  I want some decent jobs for those Hard working Americans who want a job, to provide for their family....you see I DO give a crap about Americans....I have a good job and am pretty secure.  But I am tired of good paying jobs being chased away because of crooked, greedy Unions. (NOT all Unions I will say)....

the new employee legislation act that repubs want, will reform our labor laws to put employees' rights first, not self-interested labor union leaders....

Secret Ballot Elections — Guarantee employees the right to a secret ballot election when choosing whether or not to join a union.

Union Recertification Elections — Require that all unionized workplaces hold a secret ballot referendum every three years to determine whether the employees wish to remain represented by their current union.

Paycheck Protection — Give employees the right to refuse support for a unions' political operations or support of political parties or candidates.

Secret Ballot Strike Vote — Give employees the right to a secret ballot vote before union leaders can declare a strike.

Criminalizes Union Threats — Forbid unions from using violence, or threats thereof, in an effort to coerce employees.

did you know that The Department of Labor's (DOL) Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS) has investigated and prosecuted union leaders for embezzling more than $100 million in union dues since 2001?

in just the last five years, hundreds (maybe thousands) of labor leaders at all levels of the movement have been convicted of embezzlement, corruption, racketeering, or engaging in organized crime. The problem is rampant, getting worse, and yet the unions seemingly refuse to address it.

so, f you if you think I am sticking my nose in someone elses business...........I WANT better things for the people of this country...

Troll, you was very privildged to have had the lifestyle that was provided for you...so was my father.  But, it was NOT based upon anything REAL...it was inflated labor, and YOU was the recepient of it.  The REAL world does not work that way, and many, many Americans found out the hard way.
Most Americans would be very happy to just to be able to buy a home, a decent vehicle to drive, take a modest vacation, and most importantly, raise and provide for a family.....this could happen once again, if we can get a grip on some of these issues....
I vote republican and I'm not evil....I fully understand and comprehind what is going on....and it is time for some REAL HOPE AND CHANGE!

Everything you stated there came out of the mouth of Rand Paul a moron who was born with a gold spoon in his mouth.
All of this crap you posted is to destroy the union movement.  Nothing more and nothing less.  It a SCAB agenda and it take a
SCAB to believe all of your posting.

I like the one of your rules:  Criminalizes union threats, for bid unions using violence, of threats therefor, in effort to coerce workers.

What about all of the men and women killed, beaten, maimed by the company goons.  Death to the iron workers, the auto workers, the copper workers, the coal workers.

Oh, I forgot you're a company man, the company and the corporations and the super rich are above the law.  On unions Henery.   Go Fuck yourself and you call yourself a believer in Jesus.  :azz:

Today in America there are nearly twice as many people working for the government (22.5 million) than in all of manufacturing (11.5 million). This is an almost exact reversal of the situation in 1960, when there were 15 million workers in manufacturing and 8.7 million collecting a paycheck from the government.

Also they haven't out sourced any government jobs.  It would be really bad if no one was working.
