The other day at the grocery store, a lady asked me for 5 dollars so that she could buy gas in order to go home. I told her that I only had a debit card ( which was true) I heard her ask 2 other men before I reached the door and they both told her th same thing that I said. Is pan handling about to be in the past? Are they going to build wax museums in order for kids to see what it was like in the good old days or are the homeless going to get a little machine so that they can run these cards.
I hate to be asked for money. Why can't people take care of themselves?

Because, some people think the world owes them something. They figure why work when somebody will do the work ,and pay taxes to support me. IMO.... the government has made it too easy for scums to get help, while the working man foots the bill. We need welfare reform soooooo bad. It's discusting to me to have to work my ass off to support the lazy asses. It really bothers me to see a woman with 6 kids at the grocery store, at the first of the month, loading her cart with steaks and roasts, that I paid for. I could go on all day, but I think I've made my point.  :rant:

It was costing hubby $175 per week, so he bought an old beater to drive to work, and it doesn't cost nearly that. It's a Corrolla that's 15 years old.  :yes: It looks like crap but he's goin' to work, not a car show.  :biggrin:

If you're walking down the sidewalk in a group of more than two can you pair up and walk single file instead of everyone spreading all the way across the sidewalk? It's annoying to the people trying to walk in the opposite direction and the people behind you who'd like to walk faster. Thanks.

I saw a lady take a screaming child out of the mall yesterday. This child was maybe 2 years. Does anyone ever think that this child may not belong to the person removing them?
