We're gonna need that!!!  :spooked:  I figured I'd swing by Me's house, and she could ride in the side car,and we could be there in... oh... maybe 4 days tops. I love it! Maybe you could just grab Mr. me too and all of y'all come here and we'll roast hot dogs and drink beer on the beach!

'Course I've gotta figure out which beach still allows beer. ;D

The good part is we had about half of the 112 parents that signed up for our first parent teacher summit show up.  The conversation was good and everyone commented on how much fun and how informative it was.  Awesome!

The vent is this, our PTA bitches and moans about no help!  They claim that they do everything themselves and get no volunteers.  My friend and I that set this up decided to ask a set of volunteer questions to discuss - How does helping at wses benefit ALL students?  What hinders you from volunteering?  and In what ways would you like to volunteer?  Those can be answered for classroom or for PTA and the facilitating teachers were supposed to allow for both topics to be discussed.  As people were filing in last night, we had 3 executive board PTA members turn their noses up and say that they didn't think that they were staying.   :mad:  Okay what?  Because I thought I just heard you say that you weren't staying!  They really should have been there.  I don't care if they had been there every night this week with something.  They want volunteers, now we know why they don't get them!

I had a fried twinkie, two corn dogs, a strawberry cone, and a pork chop sandwich. . . I'm stuffed still!  :spooked:
