ROFLMAO!!!!  :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I used to have a bra for the Corolla.  ;D

Actually. . .it is a "winter front" that you see on most diesel rigs. One thing about a diesel, when the weather gets bitter cold they don't produce very much heat. . . The winter front helps that substantially, but you still have to drive it to get it to produce heat. No starting it and letting it warm up like you do a gasser.

Plugging it in helps too, but still; if you start it and just let it idle it will be as cold as if you had not plugged it in in the first place. . .

Yah gotta crank it up and drivew it like you stole it right out of the gate.  :icon_twisted:  Bra and all!

Better dig out the thermal undies for sure.  That -30 wind chill we're supposed to have don't sound too inviting either.

I'm just thankful I don't have to go out if I don't want to.  Spent waaaaay too many years having to go out in this type of weather.

Hubby has dealt with many, many gel ups. A lot of times if ya don't plug it in the night before.... she ain't goin'. Last Friday night was a nightmare for him. He went to Des Moines. He was haulin'  double trailers, and got both of them stuck at his final drop lot. They called a tow truck but, it was a 2 hour wait. In the mean time he messed with them, and got them unstuck. They cancelled the tow truck. Then his trailer break froze up, and he couldn't get it busted loose.  So, he messed around with it, and took off. When he pulled out on to the road ,he noticed a car stopped in the other lane, and wondered what the heck they were doin? Just then he noticed his trailer had broken loose, and was sliding passed his window!!!  :spooked: Luckily the air line was still attached, and he was able to get it under control.  Then when he got to the hub, his trailer slid, and slammed into another trailer that was parked in the drop lot. No damage.... he reported it to his supervisor ,and his supervisor told him "Don't worry about it... go home"  So, he did.... talk about a night from hell.  :spooked:

Snow day!!!!!!!  :sofa: :sofa: :sofa: :sofa:

Last night, we got somewhere around 6 inches of snow. In my yard we have drifts  that are knee high.  :spooked: It made my trip to the cat barn somewhat difficult.  They were nice and toasty in there. It was a balmy 60*. I've got a few wild cats that refuse to go in the shed. I can't even catch them. I feel bad when I see them sittin' out on the deck in the cold.  :'( They don't know what they're missin'.

Right now, it's 10* and sunny. There is substantial blowin' and driftin' snow.   I figured my boss would be pi**ed when I called off because, we have that corporate review today but, she was decent about it. I told our AM yesterday that they might need to get someone to cover me, so that was good because I think they got someone. I hope they did the review, and didn't cancel because of the weather. *fingers crossed*.

That makes it 73 degrees warmer here right now than it is there.  ;D
