A "winter disturbance" will bring snow into the area tonight. a second stronger disturbance will bring more snow Tuesday afternoon to early Wednesday. Six inches of snow may fall before it's over, forecasters say.

The track of the storms and the amount of snow they pack may change, forecasters add.

A PROLONGED PERIOD OF WINTRY WEATHER IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP AS A
COUPLE OF WEATHER DISTURBANCES MOVE ACROSS THE AREA. ONE

ONE WILL BRING MORE SNOW TUES AFTERNOON INTO EARLY WEDNESDAY

TO SO. IN THE ADVISORY AREA.

I do have to agree with him on the better snow than ice thing though.  Sounds like they're really in for it south of Indy.
