The Weather in Your Neck of the Woods

we had a few really good and rainy days over the Thanksgiving week, but it's sunny and 75 now.

Well, it's 9:40 pm, and it just started snowing. They're sayin' we could get up to 5 inches between now and Monday. It kind of sucks because, Hubby has decided we need to have a real Christmas tree this year, and we're suppose to hike out, and find one to cut by ourselves, at the tree farm tomorrow. Granted, the snow would give the scenario a holiday feel, and our truck is a big bad ass 4 wheel drive, it still might suck!!!! I just found out about this storm about 10 minutes ago. We were in the Quad Cities all day Christmas shopping with friends.

We woke up to about 1.5 inches of snow yesterday morning.  The wife was thrilled. 

This morning is started snowing a little, on top of the rain we got overnight.

We ended up with a couple of  inches. Today, the blowing and drifting snow is causing major accidents. Thank God for 4 wheel drive trucks!!!1

Well, here comes another storm  We're under a Winter Storm Advisory for tomorrow. Three to five inches of snow ,and wind gusts up to 35 mph.GOOD TIMES!!!

Damn nasty here.... we got about 4 inches of snow yesterday,and the low last night was 10*..... yes... 10*. The high today was 25*...yes... 25*. It is bitterly cold and the roads are terrible. Apparently, the funding for the upkeep on the roads has been depleted, and we shall have nothing done to them this Winter. It really makes me mad because, we pay good tax dollars to keep the roads safe and drivable.  They had cars backed up for 5 miles last night because, they had to close the road because, soooo many semis had wrecked, and were strewn across the roads. The major cause was no upkeep on the roads. I might have to buy a snow mobile in case the ol' Corolla can't cut the mustard. My scooter is drifted in, and hard tellin when I can get her out. I HATE WINTER!!! Right now, it's 8:22 pm and the temperature is a teeth chattering 14*. I have to check Pugsly, and make sure he isn't a Pugsicicle.

Bitterly cold here. The wind is adding to the chilly factor. Right now, it's 8:07 pm, and the temperature is a very brisk 27*. We have lite snow on the way. In fact, it's suppose to be a little snowy for the next three days. The roads are still horrible here but, I got the next 3 days off so, it's OK by me.
