The Weather in Your Neck of the Woods

Well, we've recovered from the last storm,and tonight I heard we're suppose to get hit hard with another one on Sunday.  I don't know the details, and I'm half afraid to look.  The only plus is I don't have to go to work until Tuesday. Hopefully it will all be cleared by the time I go back. This Winter is shapin' up to be just like last Winter. I suppose we'll get hit over, and over like last year. 

Right now, it's 8:47 pm, and the temperature is a brisk 24*.

Walmart was out of Mello Yello yesterday!!! I thought I might have a stroke but, Hubby got me some at Hyvee this morning.  I haven't has any Skittles for a while. I think I temporarily burned out on them. 

I need to check the forecast, and see how much snow they're predicting.

19 wind chill 9 and it keeps trying to snow...

Well, I guess we won't be gettin' that snow on Sunday yippee!!!!!!!!!  For the next few days it's suppose to be in the 40's, and rain. Right now, it's 10:11 pm, and the temperature is 25*.

Nasty nasty nasty day here!!! We have high winds, rain,and the temperature is 43*. If it wasn't soooo windy and rainy, it wouldn't be a half bad day.

Well, we've got a mess here. We're under a Winter Storm Advisory. Right now, we're getting high winds and ice. This evening we could get several inches of snow in addition to our predicted half an inch of ice. I HATE WINTER!!!!

Slicker than snot on a door knob this morning!  Freezing rain made for a lot of effort getting the car and truck thawed out.

  I hope that stuff comes our way! 

We could use a good slip n slide for the afternoon commute!

Looks like we may have the makings of a national freight train in the works. Precipitation is lining up from the midwest all the way out to the left coast. With a little bit of input from a nice gulf breeze to push that train northwards a bit and add moisture, we just may end up with a bit of accumulation of the white stuff over the next week!
