Well, we have got a mess on the way. I've already been called off of work tomorrow because, of the pending disaster. We could possibly get up to 4-8 inches of snow tomorrow. My God!!! They haven't even touched the roads out here from this latest storm we had yesterday. Our high today is projected at 15*. Right now, it's 2:26 and it is only 13*. We have projected wind chills of - 20* yes....that's minus 20*. The low tonight - 2*. This is a really bad time for outdoor pets. I've got the heat goin' in the cat barn but, some of the outside cats are wild, and I can't catch them to get them outta this weather.  I do however have 2 Opossums all comfy and warm out there. 

One of them is HUGE!!! Night before last it scared the bujeebus outta me.  It's dark out there at night so, I take a flashlight with me. I popped open the door, and heard a crazy hissin' sound.  I reacted to it by shining my light in that direction. Boy.... was that a mistake.  This humongous opossum weighing probably 30 lbs. was level with my knee!!! It's mouth was wide open which freaked me to the point, that I took about 2 steps back, everything I was carrying (flashlight,food bags, and water jugs) flew into the air, as I screamed Ahhhhhhh.... as I ran through the yard towards the house.  Hubby came out about that time and said, "What the hell are you doing?" So, I said "I just got the hell scared outta me by a humongous Opossum in the shed!!!" So, we headed back to the shed and I told Hubby, "I'm goin' in...you keep your eye on it, while I turn the light on, and fire up the heater." I was seriously afraid it was gonna get me.  I kept my eye on it while I did the stuff. I backed outta the shed real slow because, I figured if I turned my back on it ...well, God only knows what would have happened.  This morning at breakfast the Opossum decided to sleep in. It never moved a hair when I fed them.  He seems very comfortable out there.

PH.... I hope for your sake all of this snow gets to you. As for me and Smokeykat.....I hope it only snows over PH's house!!! Wouldn't that be grand!!!  I just checked the alerts ,and they definitely think we will get 3-6 inches here. Hell, I might not even make it to work on Wednesday. My only concern at this point is.... if I don't make it to work on Wednesday, I may...gasp.... run outta cat food.  Hubby will still be goin' so if worse came to worst, he could pick some up.

It's rainy and chilly here - mid 50's. The roads are a mess because it's been raining mostly all day. People are playing crash 'em up derby. It'd be hilarious to watch these people in the snow. Anywho...roads are flooding out, tree branches are falling from the weight of the water and some roads have mud covering them. I love it, but I can't say the same for the rest of San Diego.

It's rainy and chilly here - mid 50's. The roads are a mess because it's been raining mostly all day. People are playing crash 'em up derby. It'd be hilarious to watch these people in the snow. Anywho...roads are flooding out, tree branches are falling from the weight of the water and some roads have mud covering them. I love it, but I can't say the same for the rest of San Diego.

We've got semi crash'em up derby goin' on here.

I just hope it waits 'til at least Thur to do any stupid stuff here 'cause we've gotta go to Muncie so the Dr. can check on hubby's eye...I do not like to drive in the snow....

Right now I don't want it to do anything that has to do with snow, ice or any of that crap.  I have to drive to Indy every day to take my mother in law for her radiation.  I hate driving in the snow...rain...ice crap...or whatever...heck...I just hate driving to Indy.

Well, it's 11:30 am ,and it started snowing about an hour ago here. Right now, it's a real fine snow. It isn't really flakes yet. The temperature is 10*. I'm glad I didn't go to work today because, by 2:00 it will probably be real bad out. Somebody offered to work my shift today to get extra hours, and I let him have it. The roads out here are horrible from Monday's ice storm. I hope I can make it in tomorrow but, I'll just have to wait and see.

The worst thing is.... I'm outta canned cat food for the inside cats, and they get a little fussy we they don't have their canned food. We have plenty of dry food but, to them it just isn't the same. I'm nursing two sick kittens. I've got antibiotics for them, and plenty of warm milk. Dudley Boy is outside doin' time out because, he was chasing Hubby's cat Scooter, and they yanked the DVD player and the Dish box off the TV, and  it crashed to the floor, and Hubby is tryin' to sleep.  Dudley Boy has been out maybe 5 minutes so, I gotta go get him. I'm hoping Pugsly will take a nap, and be quiet so Hubby can sleep. It's like a damn zoo around here!!!!

It has warmed up to 24 but its supposed to rain now which will probably turn to a layer of ice.  Hopefully it will do nothing at all and the snow will be gone tomorrow.

We've got about 4 inches on the ground now. I need to try to make it to work tomorrow. I need cat food so, I have to brave the elements. Yippee!!! I just heard a snow plow go by!!! Right now, it's18* and still spittin' snow. Thursday, we've got a big ice storm coming. The weather man says north of us could get up to a foot of snow!!!!

it's crapping from the sky tonight here in central Indiana.  Wrecks all over the place.  I have been listening to the scanner on-line for Madison County and they sure are keeping busy.
