80 here, but no nakey posting for me. I'm waiting for lil' Mojo to get out of school and we're off to the movies. Maybe later.

Are you going to be able to make it with all the snow? At one time, I lived on a road that wasn't rural by any real means. We had fields and that type thing, but was a 10 minute drive from town and we'd have to wait three days to get our road plowed. 'Course that was Maryland. I'm guessing they're more used to a lot of snow in Illinois.

I did make it to work today. They still haven't plowed the roads yet.We had 50*weather today, and now it's a slushy mess.We're suppose to get snow flurries tonight, but I think it's going to be too warm.

Well, it's 7:30pm and the temperature is a balmy 38*. The snow is melting like the Wicked Witch of the West LOL!!! We're suppose to have flurries tonight, and we have an Alberta Clipper  coming ( whatever the hell that is)  I think it's a big cold front, but I'm not sure.

Well, it's 7:46 am, and the temperature is a balmy 25*. It took me 45 minutes to clear the ice and snow build up off the Corolla. Then, I buried it in the snow. I kept on gunning it,and finally broke loose. I busted out of the driveway,and turned out onto the gravel road, and much to my surprise, the road has not been touched by a snowplow YET!!!  So, I made my way up the nearly drifted closed road. The Corolla sounded like a freight train humming down the tracks, because it had a heavy ice/snow accumulation in the wheel wells.  Thud thud choo choo whomp whomp    I didn't make it very far,and decided to turn around, before I got real stuck. So, I'm  thud thud choo choo whomp whomping  back home, I reach the end of my driveway,and much to my horror, Handsome (one of my tom cats and official welcome home committee) was standing in the driveway, staring stupidly at the Corolla barreling towards him. Of course he was standing where I couldn't get around him,and a snow drift is NOT a good place, to have to stop, and I got the car stuck AGAIN!!! The string of profanity that flew out of my mouth was scary!!! I screamed and cussed at him like a mad woman.  I hope my elderly neighbor lady didn't hear it, but I'm sure she watched the debacle unfold, from her window LOL!!! I was soo pissed at that cat, I almost had a stroke.  I decided if I got the car broke loose, and he didn't get outta the way, if he got hit, it was his own damn fault. He finally moved his butt, and I got back in the driveway,and parked. I have to call work at 9 am ,to let them know, I won't be in. Second day this week.  I'm sooo sick of Winter I could puke.  We need a ripping my hair out emoticon.  Side note it's 9am I just called off work, and my boss is pissed.

I think we're suppose to have highs in the single digits this weekend.  I'll have to crank up the fireplace that's for sure. I'm soooo sick of Winter,and I think everybody else here is too. People are sooo grumpy, and hateful it's unreal. Our head store manager ,and assistant manager went round, and round today, which is extremely odd.Then both of them we're totally nasty to our district manager, and he's the owner's son in law!!!    Then they picked on some of the workers, and took turns ripping one of the shift managers a new ass over nothing.  I missed 2 days,and apparently all hell has broken loose, and I have no idea what happened.

 It has warmed up from yesterday. -22* right now. Too cold to snow, but winter isn't over yet. It WILLget warm enough then I'll have to go post in the rant thread.

I know I was sweating when I left work. LMAO!!! At least they didn't chew on me. They know better, I don't put up with being picked on. If somebody tries it, I call them out on it. I pretty much get left alone. I think something major is up. I've never seen them at each others throats, and the way they acted towards the district manager, really throws up a red flag. I see decention in the ranks, and that is a VERY BAD sign.  I hope the store isn't going under.
