Well, it's 8:16pm, and the storm is over. I think all total we got about 8 inches. Now, we have the wind to contend with. I got one word for it G-U-S-T-Y. The snow plows haven't been by at all, since all of this crap started.  :rant: I guess they think us country folk aint got nuttin' important ta do. Asswipes... they're all asswipes I say!!!  I'm goin' after'em!!! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> :bike: Ooooh... man!!! the garage door is drifted shut, and I can't get muh bike out!!!  :mad: I have to abort that mission.  :rolleyes:  :think: :idea3:  Hey...wait a minute... Well, it's 7:46 am, and the temperature is a balmy 25*. It took me 45 minutes to clear the ice and snow build up off the Corolla. Then, I buried it in the snow. I kept on gunning it,and finally broke loose. I busted out of the driveway,and turned out onto the gravel road, and much to my surprise, the road has not been touched by a snowplow YET!!!  :mad: So, I made my way up the nearly drifted closed road. The Corolla sounded like a freight train humming down the tracks, because it had a heavy ice/snow accumulation in the wheel wells.  :music1: Thud thud choo choo whomp whomp  :music1:  :rolleyes: I didn't make it very far,and decided to turn around, before I got real stuck. So, I'm  :music1: thud thud choo choo whomp whomping  :music1: back home, I reach the end of my driveway,and much to my horror, Handsome (one of my tom cats and official welcome home committee) was standing in the driveway, staring stupidly at the Corolla barreling towards him. Of course he was standing where I couldn't get around him,and a snow drift is NOT a good place, to have to stop, and I got the car stuck AGAIN!!! The string of profanity that flew out of my mouth was scary!!! I screamed and cussed at him like a mad woman.  :spooked: I hope my elderly neighbor lady didn't hear it, but I'm sure she watched the debacle unfold, from her window LOL!!! I was soo pissed at that cat, I almost had a stroke.  :spooked: I decided if I got the car broke loose, and he didn't get outta the way, if he got hit, it was his own damn fault. He finally moved his butt, and I got back in the driveway,and parked. I have to call work at 9 am ,to let them know, I won't be in. Second day this week.  :rolleyes: I'm sooo sick of Winter I could puke.  :mad: :gha: We need a ripping my hair out emoticon.  :biggrin: Side note it's 9am I just called off work, and my boss is pissed.  :spooked:

Tell her if she needs yah that badly she is welcome to come get you. But warn her she'll require a 4 x 4 to do so. :biggrin:

On a side note, it is starting to snow a little bit here. The temps are still dropping and it would appear we will be getting a respite from the mud pit syndrome for a day or two. . . :icon_twisted:

Dex...I swear you are soooo funny..  can I ask you where you live?  I thought I read once that you were located near western Illinois somewhere...but I don't remember if it was south or north.
No Palehorse...unfortunately I am leaving Saturday.  I hate to come home but I have obligations back there.....like my school classes.  I have been keeping up with them on-line but Monday nights class is forensics and there is no on-line part for that class and I do not want to miss a second week.

....it is about 80+ degrees here today and we are gonna head out to Ft. Lauderdale beach.  Enjoy that snow Pale...and please have it gone by the time I get home.
