PH's post about shelters and food banks is still right on target, nonetheless.

My wife and I volunteer with a food bank/shelter. We have a really hard time getting enough volunteers just to hand out food.

So did we.......the same few was ALWAYS the ones to work it.

PH's post is a just another sterotypical response....

You just put down his post and confirmed its truth.

I am saying that his statement claiming you "never see that many Christians line up to help at a food bank" is sterotyping a group of people....he has no facts or basis other than an opinion.

But you yourself confirmed its truth. "the same few was ALWAYS the ones to work it."

it is still implying that "Christians" are the one's being hypocritical....what point is there to saying it at all?  Isn't it too...just HATEFUL?

The poster or signs, only purpose is to take a stab at one group of people to whom they think is 'hateful'...

My reason for going to chik-fil-a was more because of the free speech.....the owner made a statement during an interview, claiming he is in favor of traditional marriage........and the liberals (i.e. Rahm Emanual) took that as being intolerant...and said that Chicago doesn't share the same values....and chic-fil-a would be a bad investment in chicago....

then the creeps like the one in the video who attacked the girl for just working there.....I think HATE is not a Christian thing as much as it is a liberal thing.

Henry there could be no bigger difference between you and the Troll.  Before the advent of Jerry Farwell, Pat Robertson, Jimmy Swargert and the television evangelist the Christians mind there own business.  Now they got there nose in everybodies business.

It was amazing to see how many Homophobic people that there is in America having a stamped at Chick O Crap .  Sticking their nose in someone Else's business like the Homophobic CEO of Chick O Crap.   Who in hell cares if gays get married.  It is none of the damn Christian business.

Every time you buy something, your giving the Homophobic CEO money to fight somebodies free rights.  Can the Homophobic asshole.

you guys are full of crap...that is what I think....not saying that there are not some seriously racial morons out there, but the VAST majority of conservatives, can care less what color the POTUS is.  I would bet there are far more racially motivated voters who will not vote Romney because he is white.

I'm sorry HH, and don't want to get into this fight, and no, I haven't been reading this thread -- just happened in -- but I do have to disagree with you on this:  "the VAST majority of conservatives, can (sic ) care less what color the POTUS is..."

Where do you live? Indiana? You should come east, and head south, beginning in Virginia and southern WV.

(Because nobody writing here, except for maybe one person, knows who I am, I can speak frankly):

them good ole boys and gals and lots uv others who kin speak and write proper don't mince no words where that thar black man in the white house is concerned. I have stopped opening e-mails from people I have known since grade school, some relatives, and others,  because of the stunningly malicious, often blatent lies and distortions they send out -- some in the name of christianity, God and Jesus.

I asked one old friend to stop sending me political e-mails after one particularly mean one that ended with "Obama will roast in hell!"

You should hear the compassionate x-tians in the local choke-n-puke where I go to get coffee.

Every Friday morning there is a meeting of the self-appointed leaders of the multiple churches in this little town.

The conversation about that "n****r" in the White House is worse than in the local bar.

Compassionate followers of x-tianity for sure.

At least they have the balls to say what their problem with him really is rather than masquerading behind "policy" that they clearly don't understand and most often have wrong.

I think we have one of those old gray hairs here on the zone, she from Anderson.  I think she is one of those religious N-----  O0 closet haters.

I had an experience this evening that was very similar. A lady that works for me within a contingency roll wore her Obama for POTUS shirt to work this evening. She is a HARD working woman and does excellent work. She is one I have "earmarked" for strong consideration for potential future openings as a full time employee. A real joy to be around, and I mean that seriously.

Another long term employee came into my office and told me he was going to ask her for her shirt to use as a target at the range. . .

I told him how wrong that was, and he didn't do it, but it just goes to show you the breadth and depth at which racism runs in this area as well. . .
