CNN) -- Hurt. Devastated. Crushed.
Those are words an African-American couple used to describe how they felt when they were forced to change the venue of their wedding because of their race.
"Because of the fact that we were black, some of the members of the congregation had got upset and decided that no black couple would ever be married at that church," Charles Wilson told CNN on Sunday night.
"All we wanted to do in the eyes of God was to be man and wife in a church that we thought we felt loved. What was wrong with that?"
Black couple denied wedding in church
Charles and Te'Andrea Wilson had planned to marry this month at the First Baptist Church of Crystal Springs in Mississippi, but were asked at the last minute to move.. . .

Their pastor, Stan Weatherford, made the request on behalf of some congregants who didn't want to see the couple married there, according to CNN affiliate WLBT. He performed the ceremony at a nearby church.
"This was, had not, had never been done here before so it was setting a new (precedent) and there were those who reacted to that," Weatherford told WLBT.

Racist. . . pure and simple.

Right here show you what 33% of the Republican voters think.  Why would anyone think they are better than anyone else, just because of the color of a person's skin.  What would Jesus say, the  :@#%&:  :sinner:

These racists bastard Republican hate Obama because of the half of his body is black. O0  I can't see how someone who claims to be such god fearing Sheeple would feel that way.  :devil29:

But, I know for certain that I despise them as much as they despise Obama.  :trustme:

It's just like i stated on the other thread.  Mitt Romney could be the proud owner of an abortion clinic, a gay marriage chapel, and a whorehouse, and they would still vote for him just to get the 'black' guy out of the 'White' House.

you guys are full of crap...that is what I think....not saying that there are not some seriously racial morons out there, but the VAST majority of conservatives, can care less what color the POTUS is.  I would bet there are far more racially motivated voters who will not vote Romney because he is white.

Let us go back a few years Henry.  Would you have voted for a Mormon in the past?  No, I think not.  You claim to be a born again Christian :pope: and born again Christians didn't vote for Mormons.       :sneaky:

We are not a few years ago, we are NOW.  He is the only conservative (closest to it) running against a liberal, who is not a good leader.

He religous views does not bother me.  I do not feel threatened by him what-so-ever.  He has never indicated on utlizing any strange religious beliefs as his barometer.  I DO, feel threatened by Obama and the democrats stayng in power for another four years.  Our economy is struggling....the housing market is still dropping....consumer confidence is still down.

the bottom line is this, Christians will vote for the best man for the job.  That appears to be Romney at this time.

So Mitten's dad was born on a Mormon compound in Mexico where his grandparents had fled to avoid the U.S. cracking down on polygamy...nice!

And that has what to do with Mitt?  He has been married to the same woman for a lot of years and has no other wives.
