Looks like an American nun's group is gettin' just a lil' too ornery for the Holy Suck.  They were lambasted for promoting radical feminist ideas.

A prominent U.S. Catholic nuns group said it was "stunned" that the Vatican reprimanded it for spending too much time on poverty and social justice concerns and not enough on abortion and gay marriage.

In a stinging report on Wednesday, the Vatican said the Leadership Conference of Women Religious had been "silent on the right to life" and had failed to make the "Biblical view of family life and human sexuality" a central plank in its agenda. It accused the group of promoting "certain radical feminist themes incompatible with the Catholic faith."

Imagine that.  Gay marriage and abortion are far more important to the Holy Suck than poverty and social justice concerns.

If the Father as they call him and the old sucks don't smarten up and let the priest get married and have a family and let the nun have freedom from the old sucks.  The Catholic church will die, which wouldn't bother me.  If it gets worse the women and the nuns will be the only ones left to run it.  :pope:   The men are bailing the Holy Ship.  :ghost: <-- Holy Ghost.

You are right; he (she, it, et al) blows.  Religion is just about the silliest thing man has come up with.  Are you a doomsday cult guy, or just looking for Nirvana.  I think I recall you are a christian (doomsday cult, human sacrifice for salvation type), but its been a while since we last spoke.  Romney is a magic (or is that majic) underwear wearing space alien type (scientology, mormon), but I am thinking you are a flesh eater.  Right?

If Romney would slay a sheep at the location where Joseph Smith found the golden plates.  Maybe it will cinch the presidency for him.  :rotfl:  :rotfl:  :haha:

Some ass just put this on Facebook saying, "Like for heaven, or ignore for hell!"  Guess I'm going to hell.

Even though I have somewhat swore of interacting on a regular basis here, I found this article, and I think it is interesting enough to pass on.

at least there are a couple on here who may be able to give a respectable response to it.

I'll read that article later, but I'll say this.  It's hard to stay off this thread.  It's been around for 5 years now, and that means we're all five years older now than we were when it started.  :spooked:

First of all the article is two years old. Nothing more since? What's that say?

Then there is this: "The group of evangelical archaeologists" . . . which provides one with the bias these men and women have toward identification of a find as something it may or may not be.

A little carbon dating would be in order, and one would think that it has already been done. . . But nothing. . .

FOX NEWS?  More wishfull thinking.  Scientist have search the world over and have found no trace of a world wide flood.  If it had happened there would be a record in the rocks.  They have found none.

Even tho the scientist have found the Metorite that killed off the dinosaurs, isn't it amazing there in no record of a flood.

Mathematicians have figured that the number of animals that Noah needed to put on the ark, the ark was no way big enough and how could he had the manpower and the time to search the world to round them up.  As they say on television.  MYTH BUSTED!
