I rather doubt that since there are so many of them they would take care of each other.  Why would the government have to take over?

I doubt that, but it depends upon the age and ability of the oldest amongst them, to care for the rest. In most cases when the ability of one survivor is questionable, the children become wards of the state.

Now that doesn't necessarily happen right away though, especially when one of the survivors is a parent. But should neighbors or friends become concerned enough over the children's welfare, and notify the authorities, that is when the process begins. . .Or when one of them gets into a domestic violence incident.

And that happens real quick in those cases.

Given the fact that the parents in this family have a propensity for thrusting their brood into the public spotlight, the demise of one of the parents could automatically put them onto the state radar.

It isn't beyond the realm of  possibility but with a family that large it is highly unlikely.  You all have are putting yourselves in the position of judge and jury based on the reasoning that they have had more children than you think they should have.  She chose to use her body to have more children rather than aborting them and has just as much right to do so as a woman who chooses to abort a child.

Well numb nuts, I imagine they have life insurance and social security, which he has paid in to, to help with the underage kids.  We are not talking a family who is having kids to leach off of the system so they don't have to work here.

If this were some couple having kids to live off the system from the get go you might have a bitch here but in this instance you are only putting someone down and judging them because they chose to have a large family. Their choice, their business not up to anyone to judge them period.

  Just how much does he make and how much charity does the family get.  Taking care of 21 people isn't cheap.  And the kids, why put the load on them to take care of their siblings.  I think you ask to much of them.  But, I suppose you did it and made your kids do it.  I suppose they have the right to have as many children as they want.

  Just like Octuplet Mom who had 8 babies at one time on top of 6 other of her kids and she is a single mother.
