I personally do not BLAME, anyone.....It was part of the plan....it needed to happen.  A final sacrifice was to be made......

(Matthew 27:31-32) - "And after they had mocked Him, they took His robe off and put His garments on Him, and led Him away to crucify Him. 32And as they were coming out, they found a man of Cyrene named Simon, whom they pressed into service to bear His cross."

(Mark 15:20-21) - "And after they had mocked Him, they took the purple off Him, and put His garments on Him. And they *led Him out to crucify Him. 21And they pressed into service a passer-by coming from the country, Simon of Cyrene (the father of Alexander and Rufus), to bear His cross."

(Luke 23:26) - "And when they led Him away, they laid hold of one Simon of Cyrene, coming in from the country, and placed on him the cross to carry behind Jesus."

"A final sacrifice was to be made...... "

Why?  You say that with such conviction that you truly KNOW the plan, so you must know why a final sacrifice was needed.

New Coral Ridge pastor moves against members who want him fired

11:51 PM EDT, August 10, 2009

FORT LAUDERDALE

Internal divisions at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church burst into the open this past weekend as six members were ordered to stay off the premises.

The six have called for the ouster of the Rev. W. Tullian Tchividjian, saying he is deserting the heritage of his revered predecessor, the Rev D. James Kennedy. In reply, the Fort Lauderdale church has accused them of spreading rumors and disrupting church unity. Among the six is Kennedy's daughter, Jennifer Kennedy Cassidy.

Stresses are common whenever a longtime pastor is replaced, observers say. But with a huge, successful church with long-entrenched traditions - and a new pastor nearly two generations younger - the effects are heightened.

"I'd be surprised if it didn't happen," said Lesley Northup, a specialist in religion and culture at Florida International University. "Change is inevitable with a new pastor. And change produces discomfort. And it's magnified in a highly publicized place, where both the predecessor and the current guy are well-known."

Tchividjian, 37, a grandson of evangelist Billy Graham, was elected March 15 as pastor at Coral Ridge, which had lacked a leader since Kennedy died in September 2007. But if he thought he had a mandate for change, the small but vocal coterie of critics has hotly disagreed.

They have mass-mailed accusations to congregants, accusing Tchividjian of heavy-handed tactics such as downplaying the church's traditional service in favor of contemporary worship. They've criticized Tchividjian for replacing some Coral Ridge staff with his own people, and planning to sell land at the church's west campus "to make up for budget shortfalls."

Their recommended solution: a petition to put an end to Tchividjian's 4-month-old pastorate. More than 1,600 copies of the petition were mailed to church members on July 24.

The church sent the six a letter on Aug. 4, saying that if they step onto church property, they will be considered trespassers. A second letter on Thursday, signed by Tchividjian, gave the rationale: "No church government can tolerate such an insurrection from those who will not listen to admonition, refuse all counsel, and will stop at nothing until they have overthrown legitimate authority and replaced it with their own."

Church officials also visited the choir rehearsal on Wednesday night, telling the singers that if any of them signed the petition, they should consider resigning from the group.

"I told them that it's not proper to be a worship leader standing behind this pastor while disparaging him," said Bill Ashcraft, a member of the church's governing board who also spoke at the meeting. "You can have differences of opinion. But it has to be done more politely than has happened here."

Ashcraft said mail to church officials has been running 10-1 in favor of the church's position.

Jim Filosa, one of the six, said he'd expected the ban. "Tullian won't leave without a fight, and neither will we. If he had come in humbly, and done changes gradually, I think he would have been more accepted. Instead, it's been more like, 'Here I am - if you don't like me, there's the door.'"

The stakes are high because the church has long been watched by other Christians nationwide. Coral Ridge has spawned a K-12 school, a seminary and a radio-TV ministry. For several years, Kennedy also ran conferences called Reclaiming America for Christ, teaching people grass-roots conservative activism.

It all seemed a good platform for Tchividjian, one of seven grandsons of Graham. He is former pastor of New City Church in Margate, which has merged with Coral Ridge.

But rather than stressing "battleground" issues championed by Kennedy, such as abortion and homosexuality, Tchividjian urges listeners to set an example of the way believers should live.

His style puts him among a new breed of evangelicals, such as Joel Hunter, of Orlando, and Rob Bell, of Grand Rapids, Mich.: concerned less with politics and more with personal effectiveness as Christians. While they don't totally shun social issues - Rick Warren, of California, has launched programs on HIV and poverty - they set their gospel in a wider envelope of what it means to be a Christian.

At a Town Hall meeting on July 3, Tchividjian and his staff answered the charges by the dissidents. They said there was no budget shortfall and that only 15 of more than 70 church staff are from the former New City Church. Tchividjian also promised traditional ingredients at Sunday services such as choir and a pipe organ.

The governing board will meet sometime today to consider forming a judicial commission to deal with the six main dissidents. They'll be allowed to "give an account for the controversy their actions have created," Tchividjian's letter says.

To George B. Thompson Jr., of Atlanta, a specialist in church merger problems, the Coral Ridge ills are cultural. "We in society don't understand the complexity of organizations, religious or secular. People like Tchividjian could be doing what they think is right - even what they thought they were asked to do - and it still blows up."

Okay, Henry, you have me curious. Just how did you decide on the Christian god as your Supreme Being, out of all the deities this planet has produced? Give me some critical comparisons.

The church is of men, built upon the imagination of the superstitious, and ran like any other business where money is the bottom line.  Faith?  An invention to suck the money and life out of the masses.  It's all a hoax, hank, and very much deserving to be made fun of...
