Four Great Religious Truths
During these serious times, people of all faiths should remember these four basic religious truths:



1. Muslims do not recognize Jews as God's chosen people.

2. Jews do not recognize Jesus as the Messiah.

3. Protestants do not recognize the Pope as the leader of the Christian world.

4. Baptists do not recognize each other at Hooters.

IN MY READINGS A QUESTION OF POSSIBLE COLLUSION BETWEEN HEBREWS AND CHRISTIANS HIT MY MIND PERTAINING TO THE CRUCIFIXION OF THE ENTITY KNOWN AS JESUS!

TO STOP A LONG STORY; REFERENCE DEUT.21:1-9 +DEUT21:22-23;

THIS IS GODS LAWS AS PASSED TO MOSES!

THE CRUCIFIXION APPEARS TO BE BASED ON THESE PASSAGES!

QUESTION;

WAS JESUS FOUND DEAD AND ONE BLAMED THE OTHER AND TOGETHER CAME UP WITH A GOOD STORY!

EXACTLY WHY i* BELIEVE THE NEW TESTAMENT IS A SEQUEL AND NOT A CONTINUATION!

Sorry, but I don't believe a human (or son of a god) named jesus ever even existed.  Not much to wonder about it, for me.  Why people still believe that the creator of the universe would even need such a figure (found dead from suicide, or marched to the cross as a suicide) beats me.  I doubt any of it ever happened and the "story" is based on hundreds of savior figures from earlier mythologies.

i just used it for an opening. MY BAD! no offense intended!

i am not a believer in the messiah complex. i just used this thread to express a thought. i suffer no earthly religious mythology!

i am satisfied with my GOD! no matter what others believe. their god complex is their own. i just put a point and thought forward>BELIEVE ME IT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN!

by the verses i mentioned. if a body is found and no one knows the cause of or who is the cause of death. distances to the nearest towns are to be measured. in the nearest town a cow is to be slaughtered and the HOLY FIGURES of the town are to WASH THEIR HANDS OVER IT AND AVOW/DISAVOW ANY KNOWLEDGE OF THE DEATH(PILATE(?))

ANY BODY HUNG ON A TREE MUST BE TAKEN DOWN AND CEREMONIALLY BURIED BEFORE THE SUN GOES DOWN!

BOTH OLD TESTAMENT LAWS OF GOD!

Sorry, I wasn't jumping on anything you said, and you certainly can and should say what you want.  I was just pointing out that I don't believe in a god, or someone people thought was his son.  Neither entity.

And, again, I would point out that trying to figure out what is behind the "story" is useless as it, nor any real thing that would have prompted the story, ever happened.  I have pointed out in the past that Rev 13 is a very good description of a cometary or asteroidal impact in the middle east (there was one about 6000yrs ago).  However, trying to make sense of the bible as if thing in it really happened is pretty useless as anything that helps give the bible credibility has the undesired affect of supporting the rest of the tripe.  It is ALL tripe, and nothing more.

I personally do not BLAME, anyone.....It was part of the plan....it needed to happen.  A final sacrifice was to be made......
