Then it's time for you to go learn more about deism.

let me reprhase....I believe, that those diests that wrote the constitution and our forefatheres..DID revere the Lord....I have NO idea how, most diests think...never really thought about it....but I have read many quotes from Washington and Jefferson, who DID have respect for God.

Ecclesiastes 10:2 - It all makes sense to me now...

We've been through this a million times and you only believe that because it's what you want to believe.  It has absolutely no basis in fact.

No don't ignore the lies and deceits against God, continue to state his truth. They win when we are silent. Remember school prayer? It was taken because we were quiet. They also choose to believe what they want to. They spin facts and information to suit their opinion. Just remember to disagree agreeably. Something I struggle with all the time, as I get passionate sometimes. LOL

Especially when you choose to read only those quotes that reinforce your preconceived notions.

No one "took" school prayer.

Yes, they did. I grew up with prayer in school and let me tell you it is not there now.
Some schools have been told that they can't have prayer groups before or after school
Some atheists have petitioned to not have prayer before school sport events

All it takes is a few, not majority, to complain that their civil rights are being violated and it is taken away. We are no longer ruled by God Fearing-Loving People, but by whiners and complainers. JMO

She's not quite bright enough to understand that forcing all children to recite Christian prayers in public school is forcing her religion on them.

He is not smart enough to realize that at that time the majority of people were Christians and didn't mind prayer. I again state it was a few whiners and dissenters who through the ACLu(a group of communist-socialist lawyers) took it away. We were asleep at the wheel and didn't think it could happen. But it did

So you think it's ok to shove your bullshit down kids' throats as long as it's only one or two of them?

No, the 2 poor souls could of just bowed their heads and been silent. Kind of like how us christians have to do today!
But you have given a perfect analogy of what is going on today. The majority does not rule, just the ones willing to complain or whine that they are being picked upon. Whine, Whine!

If you went to school with a group of muslims during their holy days, how willing to sit by and bow your head would you be when they held their required prayer sessions?

Well PH, since I can't pray I guess no one else should be able to either. My civil rights would be assaulted and my self esteem would be wounded. Boo Hoo Boo Hoo
