I don't think it matters that much.  LOL!  The whole damn story is funny as hell.  ;D

And it does show that god sucks too.  Sent down a heapin' helpin' of the holy ghosty, knocked the dolt on his arse, and then didn't even bother to make sure there was someone behind him to catch him.  :bible: :preach:

How is it the holy spirit can trip someone and make them fall, but can't catch anyone, as well?  Is there a different physics for tripping and catching.  Of course, the physics of religions is surely a mystery (pad catholic answer to questions they don't want to answer).

Good hitter; can't catch.

In baseball terms:  Good bat, no glove.
Ignorance and fanaticism are ravenous. They require constant feeding.

QuoteKNOXVILLE, Tenn. (Associated Press) --  A gunman opened fire at a church youth performance Sunday and killed two people, including a man who witnesses called a hero for shielding others from a shotgun blast.

Seven adults were also injured but no children were harmed at the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church. Church members said they dove under pews or ran from the building when the shooting started.

Why is everything's God's fault?  Maybe take a look at the gunman if you want to point fingers.  Every person chooses for himself/herself what actions they take.  Blaming God (or any other) removes all responsibility from the gunman.  That hardly seems right.

You're missing the point of the thread.

People continually thank god for the good.  If god is positively impacting the world, and he is in control of everything, then don't try and short god for credit for everything.  God obviously had to ALLOW it to happen, (I wouldn't but hey, whats a few measly humans if you're god?) so this is inherently gods fault, for allowing it to happen.

Which brings us to the topic.  That is why god sucks.

Yep, while these whack jobs are praying to geebuz to give them a miracle that allows their son's little league team to win the championship, he can't be bothered to prevent the rape and murder of an innocent child.
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

can I interrupt the regularly scheduled program...

have you guys stopped and read some of the things you are saying?.... ;D

all, i can say, and I'm sure you won't give a rats ass...but, it is clear and simple, you have NO CLUE to what it is, to be a Christian, NOR, do you remotely understand the BIBLE the way it is 100%, with-out-a-doubt INTENDED....you have completely closed your minds...

and, now, this is just my opinion....but it seems to me like this whole thread is nothing but you guys trying to convince each other that you are right...it is an atheist smorgasbord....like AA, Atheist Anonymous......you do nothing but BASH Christians on here........it is just an observation....maybe, I just don't see it YOUR way...but...just my two cents..........

back to your regularly scheduled God bashing...
