God sucks!

Sorry, I just can't help myself.   

I found this in my wanderings hither and thither on the Internet.  Moniker redacted.

In my lifetime, I have:
a) lost my mother to cancer at the age of 56 when I was only 8

Well that certainly sucks.  I can't even imagine what she's gone through.

b) had my brother to die (murdered) at the age of 21 and I was only 16

Again, too much loss at such a young age.  I feel terribly for her.

c) had another brother to be electrocuted at the age of 30, I was only 18

Wow!  Two years later and already 3 losses for our now 18 year old.

d) I was in a car accident with my husband and daughter when I was 19, my husband..at the time.. had his face completely crushed (he lived and basically looks normal, except for some swelling)

  Damn!  She can't catch a break.  3 losses to date and almost had loss number 4.  Is this bad luck??

e) At the age of 25 my house caught on fire, while me, my husband and daughter were all asleep, (1 week before Christmas) but thank God our fire alarms went off.

Now god gets the credit for finally steppin' up to the plate in the poor young woman's life?!?!?!??

f) One week after the fire I was hit by a drunk driver and thrown from the car. I was left in a ditch...the driver ran because he thought I was dead, but I lived...had many bad injuries that have been lifelong problems, but I lived and have basically had a normal life.

6 strikes already!

g) 1.5 years later had to have a lump removed from my breast that, thank God, was benign

Wow!  God's gettin' some good credit after letting some really bad shit go down.

h) lost another brother in 2001, to cancer, at the age of 63, I was 41 at the time

  8, count 'em, 8 strikes and she's barely into her forties. 

i) was in another car accident 6 months after I lost my brother. My left arm was shattered, but I am able to use it completely and unless I have to straighten it completely out you would never know I almost lost all use of it.

This clearly shows that god, if he exists, doesn't give a rat's ass about this poor woman.

j) 6 months after that I lost my father at the age of 88.5, I was 42 at the time

And the blows just keep on coming for this poor woman.  Now I have no idea whether any of the above is true, however they were all contained in one post and after typing all of the above, she types these words:

There are more things that have happened, but these were the major things. My point is, I have gone through alot in my life, bad things, but they have made me mentally strong. The mental and physical pain has been hard....but I know that I was protected by the grace of God. Most ppl who would have endured what I have would question if there is a God and ask why. I have never done that. I have always felt that he has protected me and there is a reason for each incident. Somethings I think I realize why, other's I do not know yet and maybe never will. All I know is I have faith that there is the father, the son and the holy spirit and I believe that they have been there during each trying time....I truly believe in "footprints in the sand".

Now if that isn't evidence that god sucks, I don't know what is.  Here is a poor woman who has been persecuted all her life by catastrophic events that god could have stopped or prevented, but she's all too willing to give him credit for gettin' her through and she gives him trust to know that all of that bad shit was simply for her long term good.

The evidence keeps rolling in.

God sucks.

Thats hysterical! God gets the credit for her good times? Hell no! If he was there with the good stuff, then he was there in the bad stuff too! Sounds like she has been kept alive just for the sport of watching her get jacked time after time!

As some of you may know, I had to take an semi-unexpected trip to Tulsa, OK.  Today, I found myself with some free time, so I headed out and about exploring.  I ended up down by (to borrow Dan Foster's expression) the campus of Oral and Anal Roberts University.  Towering above the campus, and just about everything else in Tulsa, is this lovely structure:



For those who don't know the rich history of this place, let me share with you.  This is the once hyped and long defunct City of Faith Medical and Research Center.  Yes, that's right folks.  This is the self-same building that ole' Oral had built after having a vision from a 900 foot tall Jeebus!    Yep, ole' Jeebus told Oral to go and build him a hospital and that it would be a success.

Unfortunately, ole' Jeebus was wrong, because the damn thing started BLEEDING money in short order.  It bled money so bad that ole' Oral told the fleeced flock in 1987 that unless he raised $8 million, that Gawd would call him home.  Not wanting to disappoint, the fleeced flock poured in the donations and Oral survived his close call with death.    The place is no longer a medical center and most of the property is leased out as private office space.

This just goes to show that not only God sucks, but his 900 foot tall Jeebus is a liar.

I can care less about Oral, or any of those guys...................I do despise, the disrespectful talk about Jesus and God............I should ignore and I usually do..............but, sometimes........it rubs me the wrong way....
