same here.....I like blake...and the rocker girl...but it will probably be the dwarf girl....it' is not as good as it was the last couple of years...not sure why either...

I finally get to watch it! We have cable again.

I am not sure of names, but the first black gal to sing was my favorite. Melinda?

she is very good, but gets on my nerves, you will see after a couple of weeks, she always act like she is soooo humble, and like she can't believe that everybody thinks she is good...seems very phoney to me....

Ahh, I did notice that her eyes were big, like she was in shock of her praise.

the first few times it was cute, now it is getting sickening...but, the girl CAN sing, that's for sure...

I agree, Henry..she can sing...but, to me, it's not really that original...I just don't see her making debut pop-star albums...but, that's where the "reality show" vs. "talent" comes in. That's the part becoming redundant to me, the popularity & 'for ratings only' aspects of the show.

Glad you got to see it finally, Daisy! You've missed a few good ones that got cut early.  :-\

So Aaron was telling me that the one guy, Sanjaya or something like that, is only still on there because of some hoax the Howard Stern show has started, getting people to vote for him to keep him on, to throw the results. ??? Anyone else heard this?

yeah, I heard that too....Simon has said if Sanjaya wins, he will quit....Stern hates Cowell and AI...so he is trying to get the kid to win...

Oopsie...I just realized that I put the wrong name. I guess the kid I meant is Chris Richard(son)? He did okay singing Rascal Flatts -- but he's too whiney.

Yep, Cache! Just when the majority of America was ready to give up all hope on the show...

Poor kid -- at least he'll make a few million from this, more-than-likely. :biggrin:
