After watching the last couple of shows, I might be changing my mind about it being a "male" winner. Now that they are given the chance to sing longer, some of those ladies can sing!

I'm gonna send a note to school asking that daughter not have any homework on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, it's just not fair! LOL

He's from right near me! Was a wedding singer here for a while. When he auditioned...I was expecting something awful just because he had such a comedic personality and a Jack Osborne look...but he is really good!

I like Jordin Sparks, Melinda Doolittle, the HOT guy who looks like Timberlake - Chris Richardson, and the blonde hair bee-bop guy - Blake Lewis, and of course the judges favorite Lakisha Jones.
I believe that's the tope 5.

Well, you seem to be right on the money, BEG...aside from Lakisha Jones...I'm not sure she'll be in the final 5? And although cute, I don't find Chris Richardson that good -- especially when he moves away from his "Backstreet Boys" genre.

Of course, I'm still pulling for Chris Sligh...

He must be getting the younger population vote...he's pretty bad at singing!

I've heard from others that he's pretty bad. Could be the one Simon freaked out about. 'Course Simon freaks about a lot of those people.

I just looked around briefly & it appears that Sanjaya is the contestant currently winning the "Worst Contestant" popularity vote...beating out many good one for this fact. Also, read some conspiracy about his votes generating from Indian call centers?

i heard that too.  They are voting for the worst singer in an effort to force the good ones out.


but the kid who can't sing is a real cutie.  Kind of looks like a poster child for a virginity pledge.

I really like the chubby guy with glasses.  hope he does well.
I also like the heavy set black girl.  She can belt it out.  I would buy her music.
I never know their names....shame on me.

I think, blake lewis, is unique enough to win the competion....he can sing and he has his own style...he is my pick to win it all...

I'd be happy with either one of them...I like Blake a lot, too....I'm interested in seeing him as the weeks come up...he did just fine with Donna Ross-style.
