No doubt. Kinda like Weird Al...

So, who are we voting for to take it all? Blake? Melinda? Jordin?

My guess is on these 3...

In all truth, I think Jordin has had the most growth & is the most versatile. Blake is very unique, but has a clear style...as does Melinda. Even though she's good & popular, I just don't see her as THE American Idol.

Jordin may be my ultimate choice.

I don't know.  I wasn't a big fan of Blake at the beginning but he has grown on me.

Although, his performance tonight was just safe, IMO.

Down to the final four...

My guessimate is that Lakisha will go home next..then possibly Jordin or Blake...and Melinda will win.

She's not my pick, but my guess of the final results.

This is always one of my favorite nights of American Idol - they go back to there home towns. :biggrin: Watching their communities support them is nice to see.  :yes:

I'm torn this season  :confused:(for the first time - I might add - LOL).
I think Melinda is the most talented - that's obvious, and it's not her 'fault' she's been a back-up singer in the past, :no: but it does make me want to cheer / vote for someone else.
I think AI was originally created for someone like Jordin. She's young and talented (but not as much as Melinda).  :yes:

IMO, either one of them is going to have an amazing career, if they keep focused.  :yes:

Lil BEG is voting for Blake. She really likes it when he beat-boxes (sp?) plus she says he's HOT!  :smitten:

I am definitely with LilBEG on this one...Blake IS hot. :razz: And my husband & I agree that he has such a unique talent, he will prevail regardless of his fate on AI. I have a feeling he may go home tonight.

I still stand by my original thoughts that Melinda will more-than-likely win? I feel as if she has been showcased to win since the very beginning...

And I agree 100% with your perspective on Jordin -- she's an ideal "AI" winner...but, I think she will also go far regardless of her fate. She will definitely have a recording contract & will probably do the best of all 3 remaining contestants.

So, not that it means a hill 'o beans...but, I say Melinda, the artist formerly known as a back-up singer, will take the title. Just look at the songs she was lined up with last night...seemed to be tipped a tad in her favor. :wink:

That was a bit of a surprise to me also.  I didn't watch it but heard who got the boot!

Yeah, the past couple of years the popular ones haven't made it to the finals - last year Chris Daughtry and this year Melinda Doolittle. But it really doesn't matter - all 3 of them are going to have record contracts which may be why Americans lose interest and just don't call in and vote.... dunno?  :confused:

Oh well, next week will be interesting.  :yes:
