Once again ISIS has targeted Paris France, this time executing a multi-site initiative targeting public venues including a packed soccer stadium, and concert venues number in 6 total.

128 presumed innocent souls were taken by them before 8 of the terrorists themselves were killed. An unknown number of them may have escaped capture in the confusion and panic that ensued.

They used automatic weapons and bombs, both illegal in the country.

It is just a matter of time before they begin targeting U.S. venues and those within other countries. One of the terrorists is said to have had a Syrian passport. Another of them was a French National know to authorities to have joined a Syrian or Iraqi sect. (One of thousands of them to do so).

Russia was spared at this point, but I am thinking it is no coincidence that this happened on the evening following the U.S. and British drone strike that is presumed to have taken out Jihadi John.

Well they have a problem there in France, that I hope we don't have here.  They've let literally thousands of people leave France to travel to Iraq and Syria - at this point it appears for obvious terrorist training - and then let them back into the country, apparently with no questions asked.

I don't know to what extent the United States has allowed that to happen with citizens of this country, but if we have allowed it, then we could be in for some of these very same acts.

Make no mistake about this; we've definitely got the same issue here. It may be a variation of it too, with operatives with a clean background in Syria coming here to do the recruiting and training. I know NSA , etc tracks the destinations of citizens abroad to some degree.

NBC news is reporting that a passport found at one of the sites indicates that one of the terrorists entered the EU through Greece at some point last month.

This is a lengthy read, but I took the time this weekend.  It explains ISIS and their ideology in terms of what they're up to, how they view the world, and what they want.

If you take the time to read it, please share your thoughts and we can discuss them here.

I believe that some terrorist elements will probably succeed in entering the U.S. posing as Syrian refugees but now that I've had a chance to think critically about this and do a little research, I have a question.  There were just over 190 million international arrivals/departures to/from the U.S. last year.  Let's assume half, or 95 million were arrivals.  Why are Syrian refugees more likely to be terrorists than anyone else entering the country?

I think most are saying they pose a greater risk because they're coming from areas that ISIS controls, ergo, it's easier for ISIS to embed operatives in with the massive group of refugees trying to leave that area for other countries.   That's at least the opinion of several of my friends who have opined on this subject on my Facebook feed.

However, if the Director of the FBI is to be believed, they're already here:

Indeed it is.  Makes you view them in almost an entirely different light.

I think they have been here for a while under the radar but that is just me. I have no way of backing that up so it is just a gut feeling I have.

This is a telling article that in the end seems to lend support toward the present approach of the allies surrounding bombing them from afar and pounding them into oblivion, however if one reads a bit deeper into things this article seems to endorse, covertly, the opinions of some that we should just carpet bomb their entire area of possession and eliminate the foundation of the Caliphate, prevent it from expanding, and eliminate the "validation" of the Caliphate's existence by doing so.

I find more than a small amount of irony in reading their "reasoning" for their reign of terror, when I compare the same to Christianity's Old Testament Laws, and historic initiatives toward converting non-Christians. (History repeating itself. . . AGAIN).

These Islamic State individuals are obtaining increasing numbers of "believers" because they are expanding, basing their actions upon strict interpretations of the Koran and insistence upon adherence to same via the requirement of believers to impose punishment and enslvement upon all non-believers.

In exchange, they promise free food, housing, clothing, and medical care at the expense of the Islamic State and at the will of the Head of the Islamic State.  Support him and his will, and these things are yours; and more.

I also find it ironic as hell that they claim to be the instrument of God with which He will impose the Apocalypse upon humanity. The climax moment being marked by the near extermination of the Islamic State forces, (reduced to 5,000 by another Islamic Force), only to see the return of Jesus to help them conquer the infidels. Jesus? Really?

One has to ask if this little scenario finds it's root in the parables that pre-date the story of Jesus but parallel it. . .

My personal opinion is well known surrounding what needs to happen to eliminate this scourge upon the planet; the Globe needs to unite against them and exterminate them. Period.

To that end, it would seem to me that the people presently living within he controlled areas are there of their own free will. Those that are not, are enslaved or destined for crucifixion, beheading, or worse. In effect, they're toast. So let's put a unilateral full court press 360 degrees around their territories. Let every single human being that wants to go there, go there. But they are not getting out. Ever.

And when the lines to get in diminish, we carpet bomb the hell out of it for 90 - 120 days. Hellfire missiles, cruise mussels, bunker busters. Just bomb them around the clock and without quarter. Afterwards, we sweep the damned thing and shoot everything that moves and is not an allied force, until we meet in the middle. . .

Turns out oil isn't as valuable as it once was, and isn't enough to warrant living in that place anymore. . . So sorting out who lives there afterwards is the easy part. . .
