Speaking of crab, has anyone ever had stone crab?  They only harvest one claw per crab (which naturally grows back and larger than before), and they're only available seasonally.  Quite tasty.

  I don't know about Art's Italian subs.  But I just love Art's roast beef with green pepper on Italian bread.

The sub is about the same with Italian sausage and cheese on it.  I liked it a little better than just the plain roast beef.

Put on some ham w/onion, new 'taters, and fresh green beans for supper which will be accompanied with corn on the cob, sliced 'maters, and  cornbread.

  Went to the Wing On Restuant for a Chinese dinner.  Got there arount 4:30 in the afternoon on a Thursday.  One other couple in there including me and my wife.

  Let me say this, this was the worst Chinese dinner I have ever had.  Just terrible.  The place is not going to last very long and I can see why.  Save you money and stay away.

That's what you get for going to a Chinese Restaurant named "Wing On."  Seriously, that sounds like a place you'd go for Buffalo wings instead of Chinese.  That's really the name of the place?

The Wing On has been there a long time, Troll, and people keep going. I like it better than the one on 53rd Street.

Last thing I had to eat was reunion food!  Our family reunion was this afternoon and almost everything was home made and quite tasty.

Guess you hit it on a bad day Troll.  We usually go around 12:00 to 1:00pm or between 5:30 and 7:00pm on weekends especially if we're getting the buffet.  If we're getting something from the menu we go anytime 'cause it's cooked fresh. Now if they've gotten a different cook or changed hands in the last 2 months that might be a different story.  I've only had one bad experience in there in over 20yrs and it was because of a change in cooks. 

Ya Anne, that one on 53rd St. is bad no question about it.

I used to go to the Buffet in Applewood, until I saw baby roaches at the buffet table one afternoon. Have not had Asian food since and I am betting that Hibachi Grill that has replaced it is the same. Have not been there and doubt I ever will go there.

Stopped going to Pizza King on Columbus because of the same thing there. . .

And I have heard the "Wall" place on Scatterfield is the same, so I won't go there either.

Last thing I had to eat? Pulled pork sandwich at the fair. . .
