Those SNL Spicer skits tend to make the real thing more bearable; but not by much.

Please tell me you saw that skit.  ;D

She does!

And the best part is neither he nor Trump like it at all.  ;D

Isn't Rosie O'Donnell supposed to play someone?  Bannon?

There was a rumor of that a couple of weeks ago, but I think the management at SNL shot the idea down.

Rosie was open to it though.  ;D

As much as I despise Rosie, she DID look quite a bit like him...

I think it would have been a good skit.  Too bad the folks at SNL didn't go for it.

Free Speech

Few if any people understand the importance of this "constitutionally guaranteed"individual right and the impact upon it by those conservative initiatives called "right to work" and "at will".

These supposed "job savers/creators" are nothing more than blank checks for corporations to impose their will and philosophies upon the personal lives of their employees and fire them if they resist.  Don't think so? Well consider:

  • Most if not all major corporations employ headcount whose sole purpose is to review a long list of web sites the corporations web crawlers target each and every day. Loaded with phrases and words, these crawlers bookmark thousands of targets each and every minute of each day; and these employees read through each one. If one of them is yours, and it says something against the corporate policy or philosophy, or that the company finds derogatory to its public image, you are fired with no recourse.
  • The double standard that exits surrounding these initiatives is ironic. "The company can fire you for no reason and without warning, and you are free to resign the same way". Horse crap. Try quitting without providing 2 weeks notice. You will lose your vacation pay, and any reference you might receive will be negative if you do. Plus you will never qualify to be rehired, ever.

Write a letter to the editor of your local media and get it published. If it contains a perspective that is in opposition to the corporate views of your employer you will be fired without notice. And you can forget trying to pursue legal action, because those right to work and at will state statuses remove that ability.

More and more employers are using the media and social sites as a means to "justify" the firing of their employees. so I ask, "What is free speech?"

It is dead, that's what it is!
