Same here in Northern VA (DC metro area). For the first time in my entire life, as far as I can remember, we've gone through January and February without snow -- so far. Back when I was a girl in the mountains of West Virginia, and here in Northern Virginia, we always got snow about the middle of January. Not so this year. Some areas to the north and west got some snow as a fast moving storm passed through a couple of weeks ago; all we got was an intense flurry, a whiteout that lasted about 15 minutes.

I love me some snow. . . Nothing but a couple of dustings all winter long. And hotter than a whore in church. . .

Hotter than a whore in church?  :rotfl:  Never heard that one before.

I'm hoping March isn't going to be bad.  It seems if January and February are mild, March goes the opposite way.

Let's put it this way, I'm hoping they miss by a mile and the warmth continues.

Foggy as hell outside this morning. But the sun will burn it off in short order I expect.

Today has been like a warm spring day. No fog, no wind to speak of. Shirt sleeve weather. I just hope things don't start blooming and then we get a killer snow or ice storm. It has happened before. I lost a beautiful Nandina to late heavy snow a couple of years back.

I've heard others say that warm winters can lead to brutal weather in March.

I'm fully expecting "something" that mother nature has in store for us..........be it, freezing rain or a winter storm with several inches of snow.......she usually gets the last laugh.

That's what I'm afraid of.  I want a nice spring. :flower3:

Hopefully, spring has almost sprung for those in the northern climes.

For those of you who live in Indiana, it is sectional time. Some of our worst storms are during sectional to finals. We may get it yet.
