Lest you all get the wrong idea about me - "Who the fuck gives a shit about Maroon 5 anyway?" ....

I try my very best not to curse. I think it's ugly and it's a sign of limited vocabulary, or, worse, laziness in trying to find the proper descriptive language.

I am not offended by anyone who curses. BUT - I do not want to hear it in front of my grandchildren. I do not want to hear it when I am trying to have a quiet dinner in a "nice" restaurant.

I am not a prude. I just expect better behavior.

So  - you there - SHUT THE FUCK UP!

I agree with you, Bo. I don't like to hear cussin', particularly when children are around. I didn't allow it in my home when my children were growing up and they were punished when they were old enough to know better. The exception to that, which was beyond my control, was my father in law who while he was a wonderful person, well educate, had a good job, etc., never said three words without at least one of them being a cuss word. He also had a derogatory name for every ethnicity. We spent a lot of time correction our kids when they were little about what they could and couldn't say after a visit with grandpa.  :)

In general, I have no feelings one way or the other concerning vulgarity and I can turn it on and off at will.  That being said, an excessive abuse of the privilege is usually not welcome anywhere and tends to be for shock value or from an uneducated mind.

Now on the other hand I leave you with this mathematical statement, 4Q2!

And anyone who doesn't get the message from the chemistry department should just check out the periodic table.  :big grin:

Rachel Dolezal is a mental disaster.

I'm sure there'd be NO problem with her holding the position she held had she been truthful surrounding her race / genetic ancestry. All of her spinning and twisting doesn't change the fact she "creatively" lied, but in fact lied.

She wants to be black, but she isn't. . . So why exacerbate the lie with more creative lying disguised as explanation???

She has done nothing except establish beyond any doubt, her credentials as a liar.
