I just hate it when week after endless week, for 4 years, you slave away providing statistical analysis of performance that are used as the metrics that gauge the performance and efficiency of the business, and one of the people on the distribution list finally decides to review what you've been sending forever, and acts like it is the first time they have ever seen the database that supports all those charts and graphs!  :rant:

Makes you feel the "value" in all of it. . .  :mad:

What's with all of these "death notices" on social media lately? 99.9% of them on a certain social media venue I frequent, are for people that croaked a year to 5 years ago, and people are acting as if they just died!  :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :roll eyes:

I have a long time personal friend that is a professional cartoonist. He has drawn for a living ever since high-school, and for fun even before that. He is a very talented individual, whose work I have posted a time or two herein, and for whom I hold a ton of respect and admiration. As a person, as a professional, and as a fine example of a human being.

Today he has informed me that he is giving strong consideration to changing his line of work, given what transpired in Texas this week with the whole Cartoonist convention shooting.

His work runs across a lot of genres, with a bit of heaviness surrounding political subject matter. He was among the first to create cartoons on the incident in France this year, and while he was steadfast in his resolve to remain in his chosen career, this latest event hit a bit too close to home. (He knew several people that were there, as friends and colleagues).

This shit just frustrates me beyond measure, and in my mind these ISIS idiots are just as much taking hammers and axes to treasures in this nation as they are elsewhere in the world!  :mad: :mad: :mad:

That is a hard one! Maybe just say, you know in this area, you aren't as strong as others but you do great in this area. I had a manager who would always tell positives along with a negative.

  FYI, once Ford Motor Co. admitted that they used less that 10% of all the data they collected.   :wink:  I learned this after years and years of filling I.I sheets on quality of parts being run on the production machines.  :doh:

I've decided to follow PH's train of thought and I'm simply washing my hands. If they ask, then I plan to be point blank honest, feelings be damned. I've spent too much time concerned about the feelings of a person that can't care enough to at least be truthful. They play the pity card really well and I'm done. Sorry, shit's tough all over.
