2 hours to get home last night, and 1.75 hours to get to work this morning. . . :icon_evil:

Indiana just doesn't understand the concept of snow removal. . . :icon_evil:

It took me 3 hours for a normal 45 minute drive home....there is a whole generation of idiots who, just does not know how to drive in a little snow...

i saw THE most heart-warming thing ever....

i went to the basement to get the laundry.  the kindergartner had homework.  when i came up his big brother (in second grade) was helping him.  kindergartner was upset, it was hard.  second grader petted him and said everything would be ok, he'd help.  something about seeing that really gets me...  :smitten:
don't threaten me with a good time.

I got on 69 at 116th Street, or mile marker 5 at 2pm yesterday. I got off at the exit for SR 238, or mm 10.....at FIVE O'CLOCK! THEN I drove to Fortville, and it took me forever. It was 30 minutes from Ingalls to PHHS...After a quick stop at the bank, I picked up my children at my parents' in Edgewood at 7:30 pm. I was ready to kill someone.

But I did get to know quite a few people who were stuck on the interstate with me...yep, I'm one of those who gets out and walks around finding someone to talk to.

Good job, Mom.

I didn't wanna keep hijacking the thread, but I used to be accused of talking fast. I don't think so anymore. My thing now is that I speak softly. Not because I'm shy anymore (used to be), but I tend to pick up another thought and trail off on what I was talking about. Bad habit.

I love snow, when the moonlight strikes it just right and it twinkles, and when it sticks to the tree branches, and when it covers the rooftops.   And it is pure and white, and cold so you can see your breath.

then some jerk comes along with the traffic report and ruins the illusion.

I hate snow, darned traffic, people cant drive, have to spend an hour digging out the car.  Snowplow blocks me in, neighbor parks in my perfectly cleaned spot while I am at the store getting the milk and bread I should already have bought when I heard the weather prediction.

It's always darkest before the dawn.  So if you're going to steal your neighbor's newspaper, that's the time to do it.
