I think I got it...I ended up just shoving my finger down my throat to speed up the process. That in itself is not an easy task, since I don't gag very easily, and I have to shove my entire hand in my mouth to get my finger far enough down to tapity tap tap my esophagus until I finally get some relief.

I hate it too, but I feel better now.

I remember in high school I would take those candy sour straw things that are about a foot long and I would stick them down my throat and pull them back out, for all to see that I could deep throat the candy. I always liked being the center of attention.
